    1. First of all, be warned: the title of the book is misleading in three ways. First, it is about Photoshop CS 4 Extended since the author uses the 3D features of that version. Second, most of the techniques shown in the book can also be applied in older Photoshop versions. As far as 3D functions are concerned, users of basic Photoshop versions will have to omit one and a half lessons; almost all lessons can be done in normal Photoshop and without 3D.     2. I absolutely hate this book. It's no coincidence that the only other review here is from the publisher.I'm pretty decent in Photoshop at this point, but was new to the concept of integrating 3D models into my 2D artwork. Well, unfortunately I'm not learning a whole lot here. The concept of the book seems to be this:Here's a 2D scene for you to build with half-baked explanations and using obvious techniques.
