    1. Former Houston Detective Seth Cavanaugh has to suddenly and brutally sever his relationship with FBI Agent Honor Stone in order to protect her. Now it's five years later and she's an LCR operative and he needs their help in finding his niece who's disappeared. They're thrown together for the mission and both are struggling with their unresolved feelings. I loved these two characters and how they dealt with each other when they were forced to reconnect. Theirs was a mature relationship and neithe [...]

    2. Finally! I can start this novel tonight!I am going to try and be as honest and faithful as I can when it comes to reviewing this book. Not only have I loved every novel in the Last Chance Rescue series, I have also come to really enjoy Christy Reece as a person and not just an author. If you follow Christy's blog or her facebook page, you will see that she is not only devoted to her books, but her fans as well. She answers every comment and question that comes her way, well, from what I have see [...]

    3. 4 ½ stars – Romantic SuspenseThis is another thrilling addition to Christy Reece’s excellent Last Chance Rescue series. With tortured, survivor heroes and heroines, creepy villains, chilling plotlines, intense, action-packed suspense, and steamy romance, LCR is one of my favorite romantic suspense series, and it’s still going strong after seven books. I can’t wait for Dylan’s and Jamie’s story, Sweet Revenge, next!I highly recommend this series for romantic suspense fans of authors [...]

    4. Five years previously, Seth and Honor had fallen in love at the worst possible time -- during the start of a deep cover sting that Seth knows will pretty much destroy his life, if it doesn’t end it completely. Fearing for Honor’s safety, he ruthlessly broke it off with her.Now Seth is out of the undercover operation, but still not back to anything resembling normal life. But when his college-aged niece disappears, apparently one in a series of missing young women, Seth is forced to turn to L [...]

    5. Rating 3.5Sweet Justice is the start of the third Last Chance Trilogy and a brilliant start it is. Honor is someone we have met before, she works for the Child Abduction Unit of the FBI and is dedicated but when she nearly dies, she decides to do what she has bee contemplating for a while join LCR.Five years before Honor got involved with Seth Cavanaugh, a cop who left the force under suspicion and started a restaurant business, what Honor didn't know that even before he met her Seth had committ [...]

    6. The romance part of this rom-suspense novel was excellent, evenly balanced with the suspense all the way through. As always Christy Reece solidly delivers in bk 7 of the LCR series. Actually this is the start of her 3rd trilogy, although I would think a new reader would be lost without starting at the beginning with Rescue Me. Even though I knew Seth and Honor would get their HEA, I found myself anxious for their relationship. Every hero in this series is I want one heart thumping fantastic, Set [...]

    7. In the debut novel of her third trilogy, Christy Reece churns out yet another fantastic opener. I absolutely devoured this book. It’s my favorite kind of romance, where the hero and heroine are reunited or share a past history. Reece easily conveys their feelings, the heartbreak and the love, from both the past and present. It is fantastic. The two reminded me a little of Gabe and Skylar of No Chance and Sweet Justice truly gives that one a run for its spot as my favorite Reece book. With no s [...]

    8. Great reunited lovers story within Reece's Last Chance Rescue world. The hero, Sean's, niece has gone missing from her college in Iowa and he seeks LCR's help to find her. What he doesn't know is that Honor, the woman whose love he sacrificed years ago for an undercover op, now works for LCR and will be heading up the team looking for his niece. The blurb read as if Honor spends the whole book in deep undercover inside a cult leader's compound, which was, thankfully, not the case. Instead there' [...]

    9. Review posted: Happily Ever After - Reads5 years earlier:She’d held out her hand and given him a small, simple smile. That’s all it had taken for him to fall in love with her.Silently, he’d pulled her out onto the postage-sized-dance floor and, holding her close, started to dance. Instead of telling him to back off, that he was going too fast, holding her too tight, Honor had put her head on his shoulder and glided with him around the small space.Later, he’d asked her why she’d gone in [...]

    10. Sweet Justice by Christy ReeceLast Chance Rescue #7Published by Ballantine - September 06, 2011 Romantic Suspense4 StarsReview- Sweet Justice by Christy Reece is a great addition to the Last Chance Rescue series. This book focuses on Honor and Seth who have a history together. They were a couple when Seth breaks Honor’s heart and leaves her in order to complete his undercover assignment, which Honor knew nothing about. The bulk of this story takes place five years later when that meet again to [...]

    11. I have been a fan of the LCR (Last Chance Rescue) series since it first arrived on the book shelves. All of Christy's books are filled with hope, love and loss and Sweet Justice was no different. I loved getting to know Seth and Honor and also getting to revisit some of our past friends from LCR as well as becoming better acquainted with some of the newer members. Christy promised a sick and twisted villain and she totally delivered. I don't know if I was more disgusted by him or his slimy daugh [...]

    12. The seventh book in the series Last Chance Rescue by Christy Reece. A gripping and exciting romantic suspense that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good balance of romance and suspense. Our hero, Seth Cavanaugh, and heroine, Honor Stone, have a past together but Seth broke it off when he realized the danger he was bringing to Honor. Seth went undercover to bring down a really bad dude but couldn't reveal the truth to his family or the woman that he had already fallen in love with. [...]

    13. Absolutely enjoyed each second of it,Seth is most Brave and Courageous man i have ever read,he sacrificed and put at risk his family, reputation and love to finish off a bad guy he was successful there but lost all the people whom he loved dearly, way he lived around in guilt for years and then Honor is back in his life and they are together at a mission and he gets second chance at happiness and love adored each character of the book, two of my favourite LCR operatives were there Gabriel and Noah [...]

    14. Sweet Justice is amazing! I couldn't put it down! The villian is soooo BAD! I was cheering for him to meet a slow painful end. The relationship between Honor and Seth had my emotions all over the place. At times it was sweet and at times had me in tears.

    15. This was by far my favorite installment of the LCR series. It had a slightly different, but all too real type of evil-doer as the main antagonist. Terrifying to think that people like this really have existed in the past, and probably still do exist! I love Honor and Seth as a couple.

    16. obsessionwithbooksMy Rating : 4.5 out of 5 starsSweet Justice was kindly provided to me by Netgalley for Random House Publishing Group / Ballantine Books. As a huge fan of Christy Reece’s Last Chance Rescue series, I was very excited to read an advanced copy of her new book, Sweet Justice. The story begins with Seth Cavanaugh working deep undercover to catch a known crime lord, Hector Clemmons; part of his ruse included going from a respected cop to a dirty ex-cop, running a restaurant and deali [...]

    17. 4.5 StarsThis is my first read from author Christy Reece and all I can say is; Wow, it will not be my last! Five years ago Seth Cavanaugh gave up the only woman he has ever loved to protect her from the dangers in his life. When his niece goes missing though, him and ex-F.B.I. agent Honor Stone are thrown together again when he turns to Last Chance Rescue for help locating her.Finding Seth’s niece and the other missing young women across the country is a priority, but can this also be a second [...]

    18. Good romantic suspense, though I'm starting to wonder if any of Christy Reece's villains are all sexual monsters. Lemme checkok seven in the series? And they've all been about kidnapped and sexually assaulted or molested young girls Not that that makes them bad in any way, but I take notice of it because some of the 'bad guy' scenes are stomach turning. Only the very graphic is left to the imagination. Something Ms. Reece is known for. So in this book, even though there was a sweet reunited love [...]

    19. I have loved all the LCR books, but this one may just be my new favorite! This book is gritty and emotional, but also is exquisitely blended with the suspense. The villain is truly twisted and I found myself rooting for him to have a painful death! The love story between Seth and Honor is so sweet, yet tragic, and I found myself balling my eyes out. Basically, this book pushes you through the gamut of emotions. I couldn’t wait to find out how it all ends, but also wanted it to never end!!!!!!

    20. Sweet Justice is a gripping, steamy romance with a plot pulled straight out of today's headlines, that Naughty D' couldn't put down until she finished it =) to see the rest of the review click visitwtfbookreviews/20

    21. This book is one you don't want to put down. When you reach the last page you still want more. Take a day and read this book.

    22. I can finally sit down and post a review on the 7th LCR installment, Sweet Justice.I honestly don’t know what to say anymore regarding Christy Reece’s LCR series except for the fact that I have loved every single book. Not only do I love her books, I think she’s just fantastic and one of the few authors on Twitter who replies to my tweets whenever I have something to say. She takes the time to interact with her readers and for that I am very thankful. I will say though that this was one of [...]

    23. My First Chance with Last ChanceHe knew exactly what he was getting into when he chose to go undercover to bring down a crime lord the world desperately needed to be behind bars. Seth Cavanaugh had no illusions about what it would take to get the man. Years of his life, for one. But he felt that the sacrifices would be worth it if he could put an end to the man's reign of terror. He gave up his family, hoping they would understand when the truth came out. And it was just bad luck and his own bad [...]

    24. Wow!! Had tears streaming down my face at 2am!!This is one of the best in the series I have read so far. The emotional roller coaster was fast and furious. Love the characters and the plot was so full of honour, loyalty, family, judgement, prejudice, pain.e list is endless. Another cracking read!!

    25. Seventh in the Last Chance Rescue romantic suspense series. The couple focus is on Honor Stone and Seth Cavanaugh. My TakeThis is just sick. The romance angle was sweet, but the religious end was just disgusting. What jerks! Seth's family suddenly needs his "sleazy" contacts, so now they're willing to talk to him? Sure, I can understand their anger, but look at what he accomplished. They should be considering what he's had to go through as well. It wasn't easy for him then. Or now.I do like Honor [...]

    26. Review originally posted here: thebookpushers/2011/10/11/Publisher: BallantinePublish Date: Out Now!How I got this book: NetGalleyThis was my first Christy Reece book, and it will NOT be my last. I enjoyed this one immensely, and will need to go back and catch up on this intriguing series.Seth and Honor have a complicated past, but searching for Seth’s missing niece is their number one priority. However, they both seem to have difficulties leaving their past behind them. Honor is still hurt ov [...]

    27. From the first pages I liked Honor Stone. She's a tough-as-nails FBI agent who wants to do what is right, and she has a heart of gold. But inside she's a woman too and she has a heart that can be broken and that's just what Seth Cavanaugh does at the beginning of this book, but Honor moves on as best she can. I like that Honor is strong and that she moves on as best she can. I like the normal woman side to her. I don't like women that can act like it's nothing. Now Honor can put on that front, b [...]
