    1. A must for any actor, director, or teacher of theatre. Ms. Moore's excessive praise of Stanislavski gets a bit old, but it's a much better option to read this reader's digest version of his method than his actual reading, which is impossible to get through.

He is the person who revolutionized acting and incorporated the science of the mind and PSYCHOLOGY into it.     4. Generally good but the ideas are very mixed, no coherence in the writing which made it hard to understand. Plus the Turkish translation is like a Google translate format, I don't advise you to read a Translated version.

Stanislavski's early work was so internal, many of his actors ended up in asylums, so later in his life he changes his work to reflect a more external process. This deels with the science and discipline that is involved with the art of expression, therefore, it should be read by anyone looking to find more refined ways of expressing themselves.


    7. Any human being interested/involved/connected or just want to know how and actor should conduct themselves should read this play. Through explaining the teachings of the patriarch of western theater reform (Constantin Stanislavski)in many ways just shows us whats right under our nose in our acting power by labeling it, telling us how, why, and how to use it properly.


    8. I gave it four stars because she knew Stanislavski and kept it to a system as opposed to the later method. The system is timeless and ageless. The Method is of a period. Although I gave this work 4 stars, I do believe it is best to go back to Stanislavski and his seminal work The Actor Prepares.


    9. I'm not an actor, but a writer. Sometimes I read acting books for insights into character development. This book was interesting but it seemed a bit thin. A good introduction, perhaps, but I would have liked a bit more depth.
