    1. I love the fact that this series of books is cliche and yet at the same time somewhat unique because they always seem to have this ability to keep you on complete and utter edge, making you want to read on and on and on till you just can not sleep because your that awake. the book is a book that never seems to stop moving, there always seems to be something or another there that has the adrenaline running and racing, and your eyes scanning the pages. of course I feel the characters are not as fu [...]

    2. Everything seems to be going great for Eve and Jess. It's March and their enjoying a mysterious heatwave and gossiping about boys. But when people start to fall ill with a tropical disease that causes pieces of flesh to fall of the victims skin they know that this is no normal disease. When Luke's father falls sick they are determind to find the cause. Amunnic, a blood sucking demon followed a school teacher home from Egypt and is causing havoc in the town and it's Eve's job to track him downFev [...]

    3. Such a weak book. Much worse than the first two. Read's like a first draft, plot holes, grammar mistakes and under developed characters. I will not be reading another one of her books.

    4. Deepdene has been swept by what seems to be a vicious tropical disease. Luckily Eve and Jess are both healthy so they're taking their chance to enjoy the unseasonal heat wave. But then teenagers start to disappear. The spread of the disease worsens and the town is placed under lockdown. A demon is among them. It could be anybody. And now there's nowhere to go This book gave me goosebumps, honest. Meredith really stepped up as a writer, and I felt like she needed some sort of world-wide recogniti [...]

    5. I love this series and this is the second book I've read from that series . I loved this book more than the other . It's always fun to learn about the characters backgrounds and to know more about previous characters.

    6. I now understand why this was in the library book sale. Please, if you have half a brain, or even a single working brain cell, do not read this because it is torture.DNF at 4th chapter because I decided my life has more worth than sitting reading this.

    7. When I first started this series, I hated it with a passion. Seeing as I got the second book for review, I was persuaded to give it a chance and I am bloody glad I did now. The second book was so much better than the first and now the third book was even better!Eve and Jess have come a long way as characters. In the beginning, all I could see were shallow, spoiled, rich girls but not anymore. Yes, some of those aspects are still there but it is not nearly as in your face as it was in the first b [...]

    8. Wow, I have to thank Amy Meredith again for this great book, I loved it, and the 2 before this.Brief description: In this book, Eve, Jess and Luke or still in this book and let me say they are the demon hunter's still, a vicious tropical disease is being spread through Deepdene and they think its just a flu or something but they realise its a demon called Many faces/Amunnic when teenagers start to disappear.Characters: Eve being the Deepdene witch when a demon turns up it is up to her to destroy [...]

    9. When a vicious tropical plague sweeps Deepdene, Eve and her friends Jess and Luke just try to bask in the abnormal heat and do what they can to avoid getting the disease themselves. They suspect their teacher, Mr Dokey, brought it back with him from a recent trip to Egypt – but also begin to suspect that he brought something more sinister along with it. The plague worsens, the town is shut off and now with a shape-shifting demon on their tail, the trio probably have a lot more than they bargai [...]

    10. This is the third installment to the dark touch series. As the series progresses it gets better and better. It is about time Eve and Luke are getting some chemistry happening. There is a demon in town and where demons lay so do deaths There is a fever, plague that is threatening the many lifes of citizens of Deepedene. Can Eve stop the spread before it is too late? Will she lose someone close to her in the process? Okay i still am not a huge fan of the series, although it was a huge improvement. [...]

    11. I found it Okay at the start. It all seemed reasonable good after the first two books, but this was a disastrous. The story felt like a paper falling flat down. I felt tortured just trying to finish this book. I dreaded finishing it! but I had too :)Either way the story was not for me. It felt like that the only thing the character were doing was saying 'Ammunic' 'Ammunic' THERE was no story except Ammunic! I felt sick every page you turned it talks about Ammunic! they've already given all the i [...]

    12. What a great and horrendous read! Filled to the brim with horrific events and mystery I did not put this book down! It was a light read but that did not affect how much I enjoyed it. Expectantly, none of the three main characters disappointed me, but in this book unlike in the previous novels in the Dark Touch series I found Jess as one of my favourite characters. I am not sure why but I found her a brave, considerate character and she just shone through in this book. Oh and yes, Eve and Luke fi [...]

    13. This was so amazing. I'm so glad, that after 3 years I have finally been able to continue reading about the adventures of Eve, Jess and Luke. This installment in the "A Dark Touch" series was actually frightening. The elusiveness and cunning of the new demon the three friends faced was truly terrifying. And a plague? Wow I loved the development of Luke and Eve's relationship (FINALLY!!) and the everlasting bond of Eve and Jess' friendship, which I absolutely love. Like is there anything these tw [...]

    14. Deepdene is once again under seige this time by an unknown plague. The town gets sealed off and people are missing. Eve, Luke and Jess are on the case and research shows that behind it all is a demon, who can take the form of anyone. But how can they tell who it is?This is a strangely compelling series. The writing isn't bad and while the endings on each book have the drama of a Charmed episode, it keeps you reading until the end. Perfect for any teenager with a short attention span and who love [...]

    15. I actually finished this book in a matter of hours. I will admit that they were consecutive, but this book was glued to me eyes. The development of the storyline as well as the relationships between characters, paired with the supernatural themes make this book a must read for anyone who wants to enjoy a good book. I cannot stress how excited I was when reading this. I could not stop reading for one moment!!!!!!!!

    16. I felt this series is very lacking in depth. The entire time I've been reading, it's been shallow, predictable, unrealistic and just, uninteresting. I thought I must have accidentally borrowed a junior section book rather than a young adult. When I looked, nope, it was YA. Then i wondered if the library had categorized it incorrectly, turns out, no again. It's just a very undeveloped series, and I simply. don't. enjoy. it.

    17. I think that this book is the best so far, but next time when something happens (as we all know, something WILL happen) they'll know that its a demon!!!!!!!! If they don't use this reasoning I swear its time for a *facepalm* "as a wise man said if 1s is a cooncidence twice is a pattern 3 times! It's definitely time for a warrant" -Mr. Stalinsky but nevertheless the book was great!

    18. I actually think that I sould give LESS stars but ''I didn't like it'' sentence is too strong. It's just boring book, alike to others, more interesting ones.

    19. Looking back to when I first read these series, I'm kinda glad I didn't give up on them. This one was a page turner and it really did make you want to keep reading. It's definitely better than the first 2 books. But I did love this one

    20. Great book didn't end on a cliffhanger like the first two, but I'm still going to read the last book. I'm so into this series!

    21. i always find the book in this series interesting but i do have to say the twist on the last page was a WT? for me.didnt see that one coming at all!

    22. I Read This before I got , So I don't have time to write a real review for this now. Check my Rating for an idea on how I found it.Thanks,-NG
