    2. I gave this book a four star review instead of five because this is the first of three books of his that I am reading, and I want to leave some space to go upwards. If you consider yourself a lover of contemporary poetry then you should read Richard Jackson. His work stirs up the soup of my feelings. He has a way that has a wizardry to it. All poetry is about crafting right? I feel his premeditation–his push and stroke, often with some discomfort. You know he knows he's clever. That's awkward. [...]
