    1. 'REAL' (RI-A-RU in Japanese Pronounciation) is another brilliant manga by Inoue Takehiko (the creator of Slam Dunk, Vagabond). From the cover, you may say that this manga tells a story of basketball, specifically wheel-chair basketball. But sport actually is not the main theme. It is more about people who thought they've lost their dreams and their lives because they cannot walk anymore. It is also a story of a person who can walk, but strifing to find his own place and to make himself a better man. 2. From the creator of Slam Dunk and VagabondReal is a story of 3 teenagers, Nomiya, who dropped out from high school where he was the basket team captain, Togawa, a wheelchair basketball athlete who never give up, and Takahashi, the school idols who became paralyzed after hit by a truckA male nurse from the hospital said my favorite quote here:"Being unable to walk didn't change their value as a human!"

    3. Takehiko Inoue's artwork really shines. The drama resonates throughout the silent panels. I think I appreciated the 2nd volume more than the first because it focuses on Togawa's history and Takahashi's background and struggle.

    4. Otro tomo que casi hace que me vaya mal en un examen pero, con culpa y todo, me pareció absolutamente disfrutable. Y, de hecho, me da más culpa lo colgada que dejé la serie que mis cuestionables decisiones cívicas de entonces.

    5. Inoue's linework continues to amaze. And the heart-wrenching moments in the story here are just gorgeously rendered.

    6. A comic about wheelchair basketball seemed kind of boring at first, but I'm sold on it now. I shouldn't have doubted Inoue's talent after reading Vagabond.
