I ve been a writer, one way or another, all my life Before I could read, I made up poems and my mom wrote them down for me In elementary school, my teachers almost always let me write poems or stories instead of requiring me to do art projects Always, I dreamed of becoming a published writerd that dream came true I write novels about sexy, powerful men and independent minded women, and what happens when they find each other and fall in love My books are sexy and romantic, and they ve very often full of romantic suspense I write the kinds of books I love to read, and I hope that makes my readers happy.

    1. Now that her mother has passed away, it’s become important to Layla Addison to get to know her father who resides in a desert kingdom and find out the truth as to why her mother left him and raised her alone. She is led to believe by her father that he would like to get to know her. However, in the end, he’s a brut and a horrible man and uses her to gain profit by selling her to a despicable man to become his wife.Sheikh Kahlil al Hasim like all desert princes is proud, extremely handsome, a [...]

    2. I'm usually leery of sheikh books (issues, I haz them!) but this was part of a bundle so I read it as I came across it. I quite liked it, and it definitely helped that a lot of the story was from the hero's POV, so I got to see that though he was somewhat(!) imperious, he meant well and just wasn't used to having to explain himself.Major oops: Alcohol! I mean, I get that HPs are religion-free, and it doesn't bother me that the hero and his buddy drink socially in Europe, but back home his father [...]

    3. I seldom gave a low rating. If I don’t like the book, I usually gave it a 3. However, the heroine of this story annoyed the hell out of me. She was full of bullshit! I don’t understand her defiance against the hero for in fact the latter is her savior.

    4. I'm once again on the fence with the book. I just started the series and read book one which I thought was pretty great or at least shaped up to greatness but for some reason I didn't like this book at all. The hero had a serious god complex and while I applaud him for being a decent human being, I just couldn't get into the story. The heroine was an alright character but I don't believe she betrayed her emotions correctly. C'est la vie!

    5. Good to see a bit more of a sheikh's vulnerability as they are normally portrayed as overly alpha-males - this is one of the better 'desert' ones.

    6. this would have been five stars if he had explained his plan to her sooner. this was one of the more realistic sheikh books I've read however.
