      • Kelsey Kingsley

When I was a wee lassie, I was told by my preschool teachers that I was a natural at storytelling When I was just a little older than that, an old friend s mother said to me, Kelsey, one day your books are going to be on the shelves at the library Well, Diane, I don t know if my books are ever going to be on the shelves of libraries, but I m sure as hell going to try When I m not writing stories destined to be bestsellers, I enjoy devouring TV shows, listening to every type of music there is and going to concerts, reading pretty much anything with a soft spot for romance and certain books located in 18th century Scotland , obsessing over makeup, and pretending to workout I also have a fondness for cats, my family, tattoos, and a really good French fry.

    3. Reviewed on behalf of The Book Boyfriend Addict. A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.“I’ve never really belonged anywhere before.” I knew exactly what she meant, and I kissed her lower lip. “It’s nice, isn’t it?”We once again get to visit the small town of River Canyon with book 2 of the Kinney Brothers. Ryan Kinney is a bit of a black sheep of the family always pushing boundaries and never really owning up to the consequences. Finally, when another f [...]

    4. Kelsey Kingsley gets better with every book. I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars. The Kinney Brothers are back as well as the town of River Canyon. I wish it wasn't make believe. I wish I could visit this charming town and all the lovable characters in it. I though Patrick and Kinsey Kinney were my favorite love story for this town, but Patrick's brother, Ryan, and his love interest, Snow, have given them quite the competition. This story was expertly woven with all the feels and all the st [...]

    5. Quirky, different, fun, delightful, romantic, open minded, with ordinary but not common people. These are just some of the words I’d use to describe this book.First off let’s start with the Irish accent of Ryan. Hello, you had me right there! What American girl doesn’t love a guy with an Irish accent? Then there’s the cats!! Oh my God, the reason for the cats is hysterical, a little odd, but that’s what makes it so comical. I don’t do spoilers so you must read the book.Ryan’s life [...]

    6. Perfection! That's what I felt after reading To Fall for Winter. This is the second book in the Kinney brother series and I cannot decide which one I loved more. If you haven't read One Night to Fall I highly suggest that you read it first. Each book stands alone but this is a story of family in a small Connecticut town where everyone knows everyone. Most supporting characters will be in both books and are a part of each other's daily lives. Ryan is the screw up Kinney brother. The boy that was [...]

    7. "Yeah, we were a big feckin' mess. Unorganized noise. But together, Snow and me Our mess, our noise It was music, and it was ours."Oh Ryan Kinney you stole my heart in this book! On the outside, Ryan seems to be your typical bad-boydark dyed hair, piercings, tattoos, rides a motorcycle, and is the black sheep of his traditional Irish family. But on the inside, Ryan has been broken by prior relationships and only believes he will continue to be a disappointment to others. He has so much passion t [...]

    8. I have a confession. I have a new book boyfriend. Ryan Kinney has my heart. He is broken and so negative about himself, I just want to hug him, love him and never let him go. He overthinks and analyzes everything because of his mistakes in the past. Being the "blacksheep", "opposite" of his brothers, never really figuring out himself, he comes across as the loner/troublemaker in town. But deep down, he really is a sweet guy, not wanting to disappoint the people he loves. It was really touching t [...]

    9. OMG I loved this story! Ryan is at work playing solitaire when Snow walks in, she has mistaken the animal clinic for a tattoo parlour, and when they lay eyes on each other, they both know they are in trouble. When Ryan leaves work that night, Snow is there waiting for him, and so their relationship starts!Things move quickly between the two of the, and after a few weeks Snow moves in with Ryan, he tells her all about his past, but she is very cagey about hers. One night things come to a head and [...]

    10. The second book in the Kinney Brothers series, To Fall for Winter centers on Ryan and Snow, the new girl in town.Themes of family, love, and personal growth continue from the first book, but the story is unique and the characters are truly one of a kind. It is nice that the plot was really tailored to who Ryan is, instead of it reading too similar to Patrick's story. While I connected more with Patrick and Kinsey from One Night to Fall better, my heart felt for Ryan and Snow. They each had their [...]

    11. Ryan and Snow. Where to beginI wanted to give one of those grown up, professional style reviews, full of technical words, but who am I kidding? The fact is I'm going to gush like a twelve year old who just discovered her first boy band. I love Ryan. I love Snow. I love Ryan and Snow. I love the way their broken pieces fit together so perfectly. I love the way they learn to share their crazy with each other. I love their individual journeys. I love their ending because it's really a beginning. I [...]

    12. No words can fully describe just how much I love this story and these people! Ryan and Snow are uniquely perfect for each other. They both made some bad choices but because of it, they become better. Snow is just plain awesome! She is a mystery, a conundrum, an experience all her own. I want to be her. Ryan had his own problems. He felt like a disappointment. He had crap taste in women before Snow, they were all an insane type of crazy. I love that he named his cats after his ex-girlfriends. I l [...]

    13. I loved Patrick Kinney and now, I love Ryan Kinney, but in a completely different way. And that just speaks to Kelsey's beautiful way with words. To Fall for Winter is a story about two people finding their perfect crazy in each other. I fell for Ryan and Snow so hard. Their story is genuine, real and totally relatable. Their love isn't conventional, but that's what makes this story and them so perfect. All we really want in life is to find someone who gets you, who understands you, and that Rya [...]

    14. Unconventional in the most beautiful wayThere is nothing conventional about either Ryan or Snow. The way they meet, the way they communicate, the way they fight, and the way they love. And I loved that. Snow is a mysteriously cool girl, in more ways than one. Ryan is such a disappointment. Together they seem like a bad idea. So. Many. Red. Flags. And yet. They are honest in their failings, their needs, their wants. Ryan and Snow are perfect in their strange synchronicity and I loved them, and I l [...]

    15. I was completely invested in this story from the first page. He was so dejected and down on himself and than he changed. He spent two years getting his life straight. Than came Snow. And their chance meeting spins into a beautifully written love story. I loved this town and the quirky people in it I love the Kinny family and how they help each other and truly love and support each other. Most of all I am loving the authors books and I am excited for the next installment!

    16. I'm loving these Kinney Brothers!! Ryan and Snow are each fascinating characters on their own, but together they are compelling. Kingsley tells their story with compassion and honesty using clever words in a lyrical style that makes this book impossible to put down.I absolutely recommend this book, but especially to anyone who has ever been made to feel "less than," anyone who has struggled to meet their potential, and everyone who likes to root for the underdog.

    17. Sigh. heart is full of feelings. I just finished Ryan and Snow's story and loved it! They both have been hurt in the past but Snow helps Ryan allow himself to be what he needs and wants. He's my favorite Kinney brother. Snow is amazing and the perfect compliment to Ryan.

    18. Ryan and Snow ❄️. What a story. I've cried and laughed and I felt their love. Amazing. The story of two people who thought they were broken and couldn't be loved or love anyone else, met and they were so captivated by each other that no thing else seemed to matter. On the first day of winter they met and for the next year they found love and happiness. Must read to see how it all ends.

    19. Oh Wow I'm so falling in love with this author. Ryan and Snow oh man what can I say about them they were just a perfect match. Snow definitely push Ryan to the capacity that he thinks he doesn't have and Snow she was just that perfect woman Ryan needs in his life. And to hear from Paddy too it was just an amazing read now I can't wait for the last of the Kinney brothers love the little sneek peek we have of him. I received a free copy of this book and I voluntarily chose to review it.

    20. I fell so hard for Ryan and Snow! Snow was so bold and unafraid to go after what she wanted. Ryan was so afraid of disappointing someone else. She craved honesty. He craved stability. They both needed to be loved for who they were. Behind all the ink, these soul mates were deeply connected and you knew they were destined to be together from the moment they net. Getting to their happily ever after was amazing.
