    1. Book Reviewed by Stacey on whisperingstoriesHunters Moon, located in the little village of Penlyn, is the new home of Home Secretary, Adam Macintosh and his wife Flora. From the moment Flora steps foot inside the house she gets a sense that something isn’t right, but puts her feelings down to being exhausted and emotional after her two recent miscarriages and the longing for a child. It’s not long before Flora starts to smell roses and have vivid dreams of a woman falling down her stairs, whi [...]

    2. I have always loved the romantic comedy books by Lynda Renham and now that she has turned her hand to psychological thrillers I am even more of a fan! You can read my review of her first foray into this change of genre Remember Me HERE. I loved it so I was delighted to see that she had another psychological thriller out! Would I enjoy it as much as her first one though? The answer to that is no…I LOVED IT EVEN MORE!Hunters Moon is one of those creepy old houses where you just don’t want to [...]

Adam’s career in politics has taken a turn for the better and the only thing left to complete the couple’s happiness is a baby. Flora believes the new home will help her overcome a recent miscarriage but she soon realises the house is not all it seems. A dream home for flora and Adam McIntosh in penlyn all they need and wish for now is a baby of their own and life would be perfect. But all in not what it seems at hunter moon as flora is about to find out and she finds herself in grave danger. a chilling read that will keep you turning the pages. I highly recommend this book. deffintly in the top 10 of the best books I have read this year.Hunters Moon, set in the little English village of Penlyn, promises to be the dream home for Flora and Adam McIntosh. 6. This is the first book ive read by Lynda Renham, it certainly won't be the last. Hunters Moon is a brilliantly written book, with quite a few twists which kept me hooked. I also love that it was based in London, written about number 10 etc. it made it feel more "real" to me. Highly recommend this book, it was absolutely brilliant.

    7. I rarely give 5 stars, but this was a great thriller. I couldn't not put it down. I figured out who the killer was, however did not expect the twist at the end!

    8. 3.5 stars. Engaging story but the main character is a little too feeble and short sighted to pull off all the twists and turns this story takes. 2nd novel in a row by the same author, and both we're focused on women troubles and their cliches.

    9. Wow, what a read! Dark, disturbing and thrilling. Flora Macintosh, an interior designer, and her husband Adam, the Home Secretary, move into an intriguing old gothic stone house in an Oxfordshire village called Hunters Moon. But this seemingly idyllic house complete with boating lake hints at some dark secrets which the villagers seem to be guarding. I love the way the different strands of the story are brought together and would definitely recommend this book to other fans of psychological thri [...]

    10. What a thriller!!Another excellent story. I got near the end and thought i knew what was happening but i really didn't. An amazing story with twists and turns

    11. WHOA! This novel was insanely suspenseful and thrilling! I could not put it down. I had no expectations for this story, as its the first I have read from this author but I am a fan now. The main character, Flora is house hunting with her husband Adam after a rough miscarriage because they both want a fresh start. The home they view, Hunter's Moon, is almost too good to be true but it gives Flora uneasy feelings. Though Adam puts down an offer. The villagers are really interesting, and though som [...]

    12. Twisted story!I really like this author. She always has a great twist to the story . I really appreciate a book that challenges you a bit.

    13. My Review of Hunters Moon by Lynda RenhamHunters Moon is an eerie story from start to finish. I found the twists and turn interesting and enjoyed meeting the residents of the village. I also loved the spooky happenings in the house. I could just picture a huge old house with lots of history. This book does contain adult themes, such as miscarriages and sex scenes. The story itself follows Adam and his wife Flora as they look into buying a house called Hunters Moon. But from the moment they view th [...]

    14. Hunters Moon was an absolute whirlwind of a book, it sucked me straight in from the first page and didn't let me go until the very end. Flora and Adam are seeking a new home when they come across the large house of Hunters Moon in a small village of Penlyn. Flora is struggling after a couple of miscarriages so she's hoping this new house will take her mind of everything as Adam is hoping to become Prime Minister very soon. Flora starts smelling roses in the house and she sees ghostly figures in [...]

    15. I have always been a fan of Lynda Renham’s comedy and romance books and now that she is writing psychological thrillers I am an even bigger fan. I love getting pulled into a book, hook on the drama, and having to turn page after page to find out what will happen. That is exactly what I feel when reading Hunters Moon. Hunters Moon is a creepy, old house in a creepy small town. The minute Flora walks into the house she feels the ghosts, smells the roses, and knows something is off but her husban [...]

    16. Politics and love don't mixHunters Moon (which I think should really have an apostrophe) is a pretty good thriller. Adam, hoping to be the next Prime Minister, was apparently willing to do almost anything to obtain that goal. Flora, his wife, has tragically had two miscarriages and wants her husband to be with her. That doesn't seem to be in the cards! The perfect village in which they live had more secrets and scandal than its title merited! I did notice grammatical errors that I found a bit di [...]

    17. I love everything about this book! After a stressful few months and a miscarriage a new house in the country is a fresh start for Flora and her ambitious politician husband Adam. However nothing is as it seems in the quiet village of Penlyn and the villagers will not talk about their big secret. Will Flora manage to uncover the deadly secrets tied up in her new home and will she get the baby she so desperately wants? Absolutely heart racing unputdownable and the very last twist is one I would ne [...]

    18. O.M.G! What a page-turner. I could not put this book down. If you like a plot full of twists and shocks, this is the perfect read. Home Secretary, Adam, and his wife, Flora, buy a sprawling house in the country full of sinister secrets. As Flora tries to unravel the history of Hunters Moon, she becomes more and more uneasy, and unnerved by the silence of the villagers in the tightly knit community. Would definitely recommend this book to all lovers of psychological thrillers

    19. What a surprise ending!I very much enjoyed this book and the very surprising ending. I read a lot of mysteries so I' m pretty good at figuring out plots but the ending was a complete surprise. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought there were too many places where the story lagged interest and sometimes was even redundant. Still an excellent read for mystery lovers.

    20. I love my psychological books and I got to say this the best one have read this year from page 1 book drawed me in the storyline wants you to keep reading and what a story it is katie so lovely the perfect couple and the twists so well written highly recommend this book and author wrote very well can't wait to read more from this author

    21. Well, what can I say, I loved this book! Couldn’t put it down, read it in 3 sittings over 2 days. Safe to say I was sad to reach the - rather fabulous - end. The characters are all deep and well developed, the descriptions of the house are atmospheric and the village - and its occupants feel very real.Easily one of the best books I have read this year. A solid 5 stars from me.

    22. Another cracker from LyndaI've read all of Lynda's chick-lit and gave this one a go as I like her style of writing. I couldn't put it down, literally. It had me gripped from page 1 to the end. Twists and turns galore, a psychological rollercoaster!

    23. Pretty good At first I couldn’t stand how it kept going back in time and so many different people at that. Then when it picked up it made more sense. Pretty good thriller. Surprise ending that sneaky girl.

    24. I absolutely loved this book it had me gripped from page 1 until I reached the end 3hours later. I could not put it down, and the ending, well, what can I say.
