    1. oh shit, ive lived and breathed this book for the last 3 or so days!what a fantastic piece of work, jesus this authors got some seriously brilliant imagination going on, this was what i call very dark in most places, my heartrate was all over the place reading it, you feel like its you that's actually going through what the characters do because she makes the fright so fucking real its heart pounding, and as for the charachers you cant help but feel the emotions they go through page after page, [...]

    2. I'm a little late with reading this book but I'm so glad that I happened to stumble upon it. It was absolutely an amazing read. I honestly thought that after reading Breaking Legacies that nothing could top it but this book certainly does. Zoe Reed is easily becoming my favorite author.

    3. That has got to be the biggest book I've *ever* read in my life. 420,000 words I think works out to be a little over 1,600 pages long. It was a bit tricky getting this online only bit onto my kindle but a buddy of mine worked her magic and pulled it off. I had to read this because I've read and loved pretty much everything Zoe has written. I think she worked on this for years as her chapter notes hinted at it. I knocked a star off just because the vast majority of the book had a super ton of bad [...]

    4. DNF - OK, I give up. I really wanted to like it. I loved Zoe Reed's other works and not being able to finish it has nothing to do with her talent as a writer. It's just apocalypse and zombies are definitely not my cup of tea

    5. This book absolutely wrecked me! I lost count of the number of times I found myself sobbing uncontrollably while in the middle of a chapter. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I started reading this but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. I became so attached to these characters that even though I could't stop reading, I was dreading reaching the end of the story because I knew I would miss them so much. The world building is pretty great, the dialogue is witty and feels natural, the action [...]

    6. So This was not an easy read. In case you find yourself lacking some nightmares to help you sleep at night, this is the perfect book for you. Don't get me wrong, it is a wonderful book. It just leaves you all torn and raw inside because in every single word there's so much emotion. I literally had to stop reading now and then and let couple of days go by to prepare myself for the next chapters. It was worth it though.

    7. This book absolutely blew me away. As a zombie-loving lesbian, Charon Docks at Daylight answered all of my desperate wlw zombie apocalypse story dreams. I was on the edge of my seat almost immediately, and Echo and Gen’s dynamic dragged my emotions through the mud, and lets just say that towards the end I shed quite a few tears (both happy and sad!) I also loved Dugan and Kara’s storyline, their surrogate father/daughter relationship touched my heart, and I couldn’t stop smiling when the s [...]
