    1. I got to beta-read this novella and inhaled it in one sitting (In the bathtub. When I turned the last page, I looked like a prune. Thanks, Sabrina). I love the Fyrsta series for its wonderful characters (Now I have the hots for the burly hairy dude), the tension and the complex world Sabrina builds. And dammit, the ending, girl. THE ENDING! You are crushing our poor hearts.

    2. Short, and beautiful. I had always wanted to know the type of person Yasine was and now I do. Its sad that her and Oen couldn't be together along with Mori, but such is life. Seeing as how Oen is my favorite character in the series, I loved that this book was basically all about him and his lost love. The ending had my bottom lip trembling but I somehow, magically, managed to hold myself together. FIVE STARS!

    3. This was a great insight into how all the events of Thread in the Tangle began with all of the wonderful storytelling we've come to expect from Ms Flynn. I was engrossed, intrigued and - especially as a father, a bit touched

    4. The novella Untold Tales is a prequel to the author’s Legends of Fyrsta trilogy (the first two books of which have been published), but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone story even by those who haven’t read the earlier books. I served as a beta reader/editor for Untold Tales and despite the fact that I was “working,” enjoyed the story very much, as the story is simultaneously an adventure, a mystery (what is the source of the blight that is devouring the land?), a romance, and an origin st [...]

    5. This prequel novella to Sabrina Flynn's Legends of Fyrsta series tells a bit off the backstory of the berserker Oenghus Saevaldr and how he came to be the guardian of the nymph Isiilde. It isn't necessary to have dipped your toes into this universe in the first book, A Thread In The Tangle, but it certainly does enrich your experience with these characters if you have. With two books in the series published, King's Folly being the second, this novella answers some questions and I for one, found [...]

    6. The Question is Answered!"Untold Tales", written by Sabrina Flynn, answers the question that has lingered since the first book of the "Legends of Fyrsta" series - how exactly did Oen father Isiilde? Brilliantly told by the author, it begins with death creeping ever closer until reaching a love that is endless and ending with the birth of a flame. Spellbound, I think I read this book much quicker than the others as the storyline moved with much power and determination as if Oen himself urged ever [...]

    7. A hauntingly beautiful fantasy novella prequel that stands alone. Two powerful warriors, one a berserker, and a wise woman healer journey together, home from a twelve-year war. They find more battles awaiting them, including some magical and horrific threats, and the berserker finds a personal, heartrending choice.Too often in fantasy books, the characters are stick figures going through some motions. These are fully fleshed, with emotions and realistic behavior, and the plot just flat works. The [...]

    8. I received an e-copy of this book from the author. Thank you again. This prequel is the tale of Oenghus and Morrigan and how they meet Isiilde's mother. It's very interesting and well paced and fills in some of the blanks about Oenghus and Isiilde. However many others are left for the Isiilde's continuing saga. The book is well written and well edited. While it is shorter than the main books of the series, it is still incredibly well put together. A fine example of what can be done by indie and s [...]

    9. fantastic A great fantasy book. Lots of characters brought to life. I would buy the other books in a heart beat.

    10. Loved the book! Great short story that adds a bit more background to the series. I wonder what will you do for Marsailles? Looking forward to more as always :)

    11. “…wonderful characters and a complex world…” -Annelie Wendeberg, bestselling author of The Devil’s Grin“Brilliantly told…” - Reviewer“Sabrina Flynn has a wonderful writing style that handles battle scenes with as deft a hand as she does love scenes.” - Reviewer

    12. It has interesting characters. In has an interesting story. And it was well written. But I never got the spark that engaged me into what I was reading. Not sure why. I probably won't continue onto the other books in the series.

    13. I couldn't finish this book. Read to the twelfth chapter and gave up. I found the characters flat and the plot bordered on abstract.

    14. Writing is solid, engaging and fully embraces the fantasy genre. I loved this book! Only wished that it had an actual ending instead of feeling like a teaser-intro.
