As a writer, editor, and publisher at Solarwyrm Press, Dominica Malcolm focuses primarily on diverse characters and settings, sharing the stories that are often ignored by mainstream media Much of this interest grew out of her five and a half years living in Malaysia, where she became innately aware of the issues that stem from lack of diversity.Though born and raised in Australia, and having spent half her twenties in Malaysia, Dominica is now based in California, where the majority of her time is taken up by improv and acting pursuits She hopes to take her interest in diversity to the world of filmmaking. With such a wide range of creative pursuits, she has made short films in Australia music videos in Malaysia and Hawaii and performed stand up comedy in Australia, Ireland, and Malaysia You can find videos of all of these things and on her YouTube channel. She also has a blog where she writes about her travels, creative pursuits, and diversity in the media or lack thereof.

    1. I'm in this, so I am clearly biased, but the rest of the stories were also a delight--my personal favorite is what I have been fondly referring to in my head as the Gay Werewolf story (I am a huge sucker for queer monsters), but I enjoyed them all. A+

    2. Content warning for biphobia, misgendering, tragic queers. I was excited to read this anthology but could barely finish the first three. I pressed on because I really wanted to support it, but the stories are really not all that strong: they read like confessions, or they read like generic slice-of-life arguments with no verve, no reason for me to feel emotional investment in the characters or their problems. Even competently-written stories are lackluster or bogged down with cliche. Queer chara [...]

    3. A friend of mine wrote one of the stories in this book, which is how I happened to hear about it. I was so excited to discover an anthology of this nature existed, and it did not disappoint. Usually I read books all the way through at once -- even anthologies -- but this one was delightful to read one story at a time, in between reading other things, slowly savoring my way through to make the book last as long as possible. What a treat to see such a wide range of genders, relationships, and cult [...]

    4. A fantastic anthology of stories of relationships of the heart. Most outside religious or societal 'straight norms'. A breath of fresh air; excellent choices in international writing styles, with high quality in narrative.

    5. I enjoyed this collection of short stories that spoke to the many multifaceted relationships and people in those relationships. I liked the variety of works that included some science fiction, suspense/mystery, poetry and the list goes on. It was good to see another imagination of poly relationships and to see how people live in that world or envision the possibilities of such a world. Was every story my favorite? No, but there was truly nothing that I read that I didn't enjoy or learn something [...]

    6. I'm the editor of this book so I'm not writing a review. But if you're interested in getting a copy of this book prior to the release date (at least a month early), I'm currently crowdfunding it until early June. Check it out at indiegogo/projects/ma
