    2. This is a book that is I think necessary reading for folks studying feminist political theory and/or Marxism, but isn't really appropriate as a one-and-done stopping point. It offers a variety of viewpoints in the essays it provides (though obviously not exhaustive), and if nothing else provides a framework for analysis that can be applied outside of the book. (My personal favorite is "Capitalism is an Advanced Stage of Patriarchy, but Marxism isn't Feminism," by Azizah Al-Hibri) Four stars only [...]
