    1. As my wonderful Austin experience changes daily after living here for most of the last fifty years I began to wonder if there was a chance that its great cultural history would be preserved. Mr. Barnes gathered stories, events and local folks that assured that there was an interesting and diverse history for new comers and old timers alike. It looks as if he is planning a sequel. Hurrah.
