    1. Full disclosure: I received this book, directly from the author, as a Shelf Awareness (Book Buzz) giveaway, but that in no way affects this review.Starting five years after its predecessor The Sandpiper, Behold a Rainbow continues the story of the Cameron women (and the people in their lives). Ellie, Kate, and Jamie have issues, some ongoing, some new. Dealing with alcoholism, infertility, and breast cancer, each in her own way, the women of Spring Port look for the rainbow after the rain. And w [...]

    2. Behold A Rainbow is the continuing story of the Cameron women from the first book in the series, The Sandpiper. Haunting memories of their dearly departed friend, Nina Judd, bestow beautiful shadows from the past. This book could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading The Sandpiper first as it creates the background for the characters depicted in Behold A Rainbow, and is a powerful book in its own right.I fell in love with the characters introduced in the first book of this ser [...]

    3. For a book which is not so very long, author Susan Brace Lovell weaves together a deeply moving story which touches upon so many difficult subjects relevant to our current day. Her characters confront with courage the specter of breast cancer, struggles with addiction recovery and mental illness, children denied their childhood, IVF and the emotional challenges attached thereto as well as the boundaries and limitations of people within their respective professions. The main characters are tender [...]

Cancer, infertility, baby daddy questionswhat are the secrets that become the ties that bind? Behold a rainbow .even while we struggle with angst there are spots of light, while we struggle we get glimpses of the what the end of the rainbow holds for us, no matter what brings about those tears there is the positivity of love, [...]

    5. I won this book as part of a giveaway. I received an autographed copy of the book (awesome!) and she advised that I read the first book (The Sandpiper). I'm really glad I read The Sandpiper first- it gave me a deeper understanding of the characters and their background! I absolutely LOVED that this book talked about real problems women face today, and was completely touched through their journeys. I was so glad to see that through trials and bad situations, joy comes in the morning. I felt a st [...]

    6. Wonderful inspirational story. The pattern of the book was good, am getting used to authors using the different characters in different chapters, gives better insight into their thoughts. Thanks for the book.

    7. In full disclosure, I won Behold a Rainbow in one of ' giveaways. 4.5 stars I was advised by the author, Susan Lovell, to read her first book The Sandpiper, and I was so glad I did. I had a clearer idea of where the characters were coming from, and I was so enchanted with the Cameron women and their friend, Aunt Nina, that I couldn't wait to get into Behold a Rainbow. The main characters were all very real, and they faced very real problems (infertility, alcoholism, depression, and more) that in [...]
