I think this is a great story of 3 tormented souls. Liam had an accident that put him into a wheelchair. Ivy, Liam's wife, afraid of losing her husband and marriage. Ward, Liam's childhood friend, logger and ex-lover. As Ward ends up back in town and sees Ivy for the first time, he's hooked until he learns that she's Liam's wife. I think if the menage would have started earlier in the story I would have liked it better. Plus if someone is threatening my significant other, I would make sure that they knew so that they would be vigilant on what is going around them. Wow! Fevered Hearts was really freaking good. I already knew that Ms. Petrova could write unbelievably hot ménage romances as I have read several of them. What I did not know was how good she was at writing romantic suspense. And she is GOOOOOOD! I loved that the book opened with Ward seeing Ivy for the first time and experiencing an immediate attraction for her before knowing who she was. Their natural sexual attraction actually went a long way in cementing the realism of the arrangement Liam [...]

This was a quick read for me but a very hot and enjoyable quick read. I love ménage stories especially when there is M/M involvement and this book certainly delivered.
