    1. The book is a fast read, and i like that about it. It is a romance novel about a damsel in distress and she fell for him.I did not like that the book din't have much details about their previous, but i guess its okay cause it made the book shorter.

    2. Good story. Egan is the loner of the seven Rebel brothers, thanks to some time in prison for a crime he didn't commit. He prefers the open air and cattle to time around people. Rachel hasn't been home for twelve years because of memories she has been trying to escape. On the drive from the airport she decides to take the long way home to give herself more time and ends up lost and stranded when her car breaks down. When Egan finds Rachel he can't just leave her there, even when he finds out who s [...]

    3. Simply adore Linda Warren and have for longer than dirt so was excited to read her latest book, Texas Rebels: Egan, and boy was I happy I did. I loved every aspect of the story, from an innocent man being sent to jail to that man growing up and finally finding a person who sparks his interest only to realize she is the daughter of the man who sent him to jail. He tries to keep his distance but the chemistry and attraction was too much for him to resist. Once he's had her in his bed he was still [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this story. It was a story about forgiveness, facing the past, redemption, and Love. Egan was a loner. He was accused, and sentenced for a crime that he didn't do. He no longer trust people, or the law. He loves his family on the other hand. I love his big family. You could feel their strength, love, and closeness throughout the story. Rachel's mother died many years ago. she has carried the pain, and guilt around with her far too long. It's time for her to go home, and face the [...]

    5. Really great way to start a new series. Loved reading Egan and Rachel's story. Can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

    6. Pin the Tail on the Romance time! My TBR tally is a ridiculous 1386 books, so I spun the magic random number generator app to get book #1340 Texas Rebels: Egan by Linda Warren Why Was This In My TBR: I think it was a free download from Harlequin. I'm hopeless when it comes to free booksWhat Is This Book: Harlequin American Romance (2015). I think this may be the first Harlequin American Romance I've ever readIs It Part of A Series: Texas Rebels (1) (I haven't read any of this series)Rating: 2.5 [...]

    7. Romances are, if anything, predictable. Authors specialize in devising obstacles to the cuddling that is to follow. With one cowboy and one damsel in distress the die would seem to be cast. That her father was responsible for unfairly sending him to jail for 3 months when he was twenty is the fly in the ointment. The neighbour’s four dogs that were likely responsible for killing the rancher’s calves that he shot in the gal’s defense a further development. The feud that has been ongoing wit [...]

    8. If there is one person Egan Rebel hates more than anyone with the last name McCray; it's Judge Hollister. But when Egan stumbles upon the Judge's daughter back in town and lost, he winds up helping her find her way into town and saving her from his crazy neighbor's dogs. Can she change his mind about the Hollister's?Rachel is back in town to face the ghosts of her past, but at the last minute gets cold feet and takes the "scenic route." Which just means she gets lost; luckily for her Egan shows [...]

    9. This story had some interesting family dynamics on both of the MC's sides. It also had plenty of action, resentments and misunderstandings. Add to that the "forrbidden" attraction between Egan and Rachel. Forbidden because of the actions of Rachael's father, the judge. Okay, so not exactly forbidden but filled with road blocks all around. It was almost like the Hatfield's and the McCoy's. Except where there was more hostility and often more danger and real fueding between the Rebel Family and th [...]

    10. "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?", singer Paula Cole once asked. They are clearly evident in abundance--Linda Warren has found 7 of them in this first novel of her planned series. You can always count on this author for a good, solid romantic read, and she certainly doesn't disappointment in this novel. Although I did find it a bit dizzying to meet, remember the names of and sort out the relationships between all the members of two entire families of feuding Texas neighbors, the hero and heroin [...]

    11. I’ve enjoyed my forays into the small Texas town of Horseshoe, and getting to know the folks who live there. This is Egan Rebel and Rachel Hollister’s story. Egan is a loner who did a short stint in prison when he was twenty. And Rachel’s father is the judge who harshly sentenced him. Rachel returns to her home town to visit her family twelve years later, and finds herself lost in the woods and in danger. It’s Egan who saves her life, not once, but twice. Even though they’re sweetly at [...]

    12. I have to admit I really didn't pay attention to what the book was about when I saw that cover I knew I had to check it out. There is so much to love about this book from the drama, suspense and romance. I loved the connection between Rachel and Egan it was one of those cheesy love at first sight but at least its stretched out a bit with the spark between the two. I loved that there was the dual point of views with the characters facing their own set of problems. I loved that there was enough dra [...]

    13. A story of redemption, forgiveness and hope. Linda Warren managed to convey all of these emotions. Egan was unjustly accused and sentenced for an event he was innocent of. Rachel is the daughter of the man who Egan blames or it. Will he be able to let go of all the anger and hate he feels for his happily ever after? Or will he wallow in self pity and seek revenge. I received an ARC of Texas Rebels: Egan by Linda Warren for an honest review. An emotionally raw story that will break and mend your [...]

    14. Texas Rebels: Egan by Linda Warren is a good book. Funny at times but series stuff going on. Looking forward to the stories about the other Rebel brothers. Egan is a loner. Not trusting anyone since he was sent to prison for something he didn't do. Life was tough in prison. Released after three months. He meets the daughter of the judge who sent him to prison. Rachel Hollister has past history problems of her own. A very good read.

    15. All those Rebel Men, Mmm Mmm! Wasn't sure I would like this when I read Egan had been in prison unfairly by the good ol boy system, in the past, but the outcome needed it. Rachel grew up a lot in a short amount of time, so totally liked her, her strength and insights along with Egan's. They made such a good couple. Their journey had ups and definitely downs, and funny bits in between. Will definitely read more of the Rebel Men.

    16. I really liked this book. I fell in love with Egan and all of his brothers, so therefore I am looking forward to reading more about each of them. It is really a sweet love story, but I was beginning to wonder if Rachel and Egan were going to get together before the book ended, but then I loved the way it ended. I did receive this book for free through First Reads, but this an honest review.

    17. I really enjoyed this cowboy romance. It was pretty fast paced and it kept me turning the pages to find out what happened next. There was little bits of humor, mystery, and soul searching wrapped up in this story. I really liked this author's style. I was given this book in return for my honest review.

    18. Egan Rebel was a loner and after going to prison he came across a girl who needed his help but in the form of the daughter of the judge who sentenced him to prison. Rachel Hollister blamed herself for her mothers death, fell in love with Egan but he was afraid to love her but they fell and got married

    19. Not my typical pick but I did enjoy this light read. Wish the author had included more about Kate, the mother. She seemed line the most plotted character. Looking forward to the next installment and a little more Texas!

    20. I think my new book boyfriend is a hot rancher cow boy and i think his name is Egan! This story is hot and is filled with love and second chances! I have never read anything from this author and clearly that is a mistake! MUST READ!

    21. Rachel is from the big city and returns home but soon gets lost and is rescued by handsome Egan Rebel. Quick and easy read.

    22. This was a new author for me and I enjoyed reading it. Good story and characters. I am looking into more from this author. Hopefully more in this series.

    23. I love cowboy stories. Linda Warren made this one a quick and easy read. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

    24. Rachel carries a lot of guilt for her Mom's death. Egan helps her when she is lost and then when she is abducted. All ends well.

    25. good book. first time reading this author I saw in the back of a Linda Lael Miller book. much better than I was expecting for a harlequin.
