    1. This is a solid read that tells a great story with a large cast of characters from different sides of the political landscape in Peru, a lawyer and his daughter from the states, a anthropologist, and a cast of others playing both sides. 40% through it turned into a real espionage thriller.


    2. This was a good book. Although a little slow at times, for the most part it was a really good read. The characters were good and easy to care about what happened to them. The description of the mountains was breathtaking. It sounded like absolutely gorgeous country. And extremely rough and unforgiving at the same time. Really enjoyable book.
