    1. Rating: 3 out of 5.My Lord Immortality by Alexandra IvyIn this world Alexandra Ivy has created, Nefri, an ancient vampire has created the Veil whereby vampires had to stop drinking human blood and live separately from humans. The consequence of not drinking human blood meant that the vampires also lost their hunger for passions borne in humans, which included lust. Opposing such restrictions is a segment of vampires who appear as villains in this novel. Sebastian St. Ives has been gladly spendin [...]

    2. 3 stars. The heroine in this book is virtually a clone from the previous book. Being the last book in the trilogy, the denouement involved all three couples and we had a bit of a hidden conspiracy. Apart from that, this has been a very tame sort of PR. However, I think this trilogy might have helped in giving birth to the far superior Guardians of Eternity series, and for that I'm very grateful.

    3. Cover & title - 4 out of 5Favorite line - "You will not lose me, Amelia. I intend to devote an eternity to loving you" She tilted back her head of offer him a tearful smile. "Only an eternity?" Favorite Character - AmeliaActual rating - 3.5 out of 4, i rounded up. I started this book not realizing it was a historical paranormal romance (what a genre, ha!) and since i never read historical books (by choice) i was seriously worried i was going to hate it. Strangely enough i didn't, i guess thi [...]

    4. I just finished this series. It is kind of a prequel to the Guardians of Eternity series since it features Nefri and the medallions that are important to keeping the Veil safe. The characters in each story are very interesting and well written. The series was enjoyable to read, but I love Ms. Ivy's series, Guardians of Eternity, so much better and look forward to the next Guardians book. I would recommend this series if you would like a fast and light read.

    5. My Lord Immortality by Alexandra IvyImmortal Rogues Book 3Drake Ramone wants the power of moving about mankind, living as he was meant to with all the pleasures. Nefri has put a veil up between their worlds but he was determined to get the medallion that would remove that veil so he could live as he was meant to. Sebastian St. Ives has been made the guardian over Amelia Hadwell. She has received one of the amulets, part of the medallion. He knows Drake will try and get it from her anyway he can [...]

    6. The 3rd book in the series, previously released in December of 2003, continues the fight of Drake Ramone, a vampire with a black heart who is trying to destroy the veil between the Vampire and human worlds. Nefri, the greatest of all vampires, erected the veil some 200 years earlier because vampires began to succumb to bloodlust, preying on humans and often killing them. With the help of a Medallion, Nephri found a way to separate the two worlds and keep the peace. The vampire community became p [...]

    7. The Veil, a protection between the world of humans and the world of vampires is in danger of being taken down, leaving the world at the mercy of vampires who wish to conquer, rule and enslave the human race. Three vampires, The Immortal Rogues, are poised to stop this evil plan. MY LORD IMMORTALITY is the third story in this series about Sebastian St. Ives, one of the protectors. Sebastian is a scholar, content with his chosen life of seclusion until he meets and must protect Amelia Hadwell, tha [...]

    8. My Lord Immortality is the third in the Immortal Rogues series and is a reprint with the author’s real name on the new cover. This is a Paranormal/Historical Romance that is actually pretty clean and only slightly violent. This series seems to be a prequel to Ms. Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity series. Now anyone who knows me knows that I am not a huge fan of Historical Romance but as soon as I saw this book was being re-released I just had to snatch it up! I had already purchased the first two a [...]

    9. It was a nice end to the Immortal Rogues trilogy. The romance of the characters seemed a bit rushed, somehow, but I liked them both. It was nice to see the other couples at the end of the book, too. I wish there had been a bit more of a happily ever after prologue at the end.

    10. My Rating: 2.5 stars: Finished it - take it or leave it (C)Originally posted at THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUTOur story begins with a prologue outlining the history of vampires in the world - and that the greatest vampire, Nefri, created a veil to hide their race from humans. This put an end to bloodlust and created a docile, intellectual vampire race. However, there are some that do not agree with Nefri’s rule and have entered the human world to recover the Medallion which gives Nefri her pow [...]

    12. My Lord Immortality wraps up the Immortal Rogues trilogy very well.In the final chapter of this trilogy we meet Amelia and Sebastian. Amelia is an amazing woman that has decided to take a different road than the expected. Rather than marry well and live the society life, she decides to take care of her mentally challenged brother. She leaves the life she knows and builds a stable home for him in the more affordable, seeder part of London. William keeps Amelia constantly busy, but she enjoys and [...]

    13. Review courtesy of Dark Faerie Tales.Quick & Dirty: The quest for the Medallion places Amelia and William Hadwell in harms way with only Sebastian St. Ives set to guard them with his life.Opening Sentence: The cottage set in the thick copse of trees was a dark, cramped affair. The Review:Like many of you I often judge a book by its cover and often find that my fears or joys have been misplaced. To be completely honest, I didn’t hold out much hope for this book based on the cover. Admittedly [...]

    14. Read other book reviews at Book Junkie Joint. My Lord Immortality offers a different horde of vampires, and this alone made it worth reading. Following the footsteps of Nora Roberts in creating her own norms for vampires in her books, Alexandra Ivy presents scholarly vampire Sebastian St. Ives, who walks during the day and has completely gotten rid of his taste for human blood. The story is well-written and the characters are well-drawn out throughout the story. Plot-wise, of course, it featured t [...]

    16. My Lord Immortality is the third in the Immortal Rogues series and is a reprint with the author's real name on the new cover. This is a Paranormal/Historical Romance that is actually pretty clean and only slightly violent. This series seems to be a prequel to Ms. Ivy's Guardians of Eternity series. Before getting further in my review, I feel it necessary to note that it wasn't until after I started reading My Lord Immortality, that I discovered 1) the book is a reissue, 2) it is the third story i [...]

    17. This story starts off very well. A single woman, caring for her intellectually challenged brother, during the Jack Ripper Murder’s. It is a great premise. Not to mention the fact that unbeknownst to her she is caring a medallion of great value to the vampire race. The intro is great, and seems like there will be unending action and a great mystery. But for some reason the story just stops and is stagnant. I did not expect there to be sex because it takes place in Victorian England, and she is [...]

    18. I just finished this series. I thought it best to read them all together so that I could give a better review. While I love Ms. Ivy's series, Guardians of Eternity, I wasn't too fond of this one. It is kind of a prequel to the GoE series since it features Nefri and the medallions that are important to keeping the Veil safe. I guess my review is really of all three of the books since really there wasn't much difference between them. The first two even had the villains using the same ploy to intro [...]

    20. Amelia Hadwell has no time for London's nightlife. Not when her beloved brother's odd ways have their family threatening to institutionalize him. And not when she is questioning her own sanity after being confronted by a murderous shadow creature--then being saved by a captivating stranger, a man who belongs to a world she cannot imagine. Reserved and scholarly, Sebastian St. Ives has been content without human desires--until they are reawakened by the delicate, brave Amelia, whom he is meant to [...]

    21. For this review and more visit my blog My Lord Immortality is one of those books that started really well but kind of lost momentum as it went along. I didn’t mind the storyline and I liked the characters especially Sebastian. The romance was nice and the chemistry between Amelia and Sebastian was great. There were quite a few inconsistencies which really dragged me out of the story especially towards the end. Also Amelia and Sebastian’s super natural senses seemed to fail them a little too o [...]

    22. MehI was a little disappointed with this book. The storyline was great. I liked the idea. Vampires trying to come back to the human world to rule over them. A medallion that can break the barriers from the vampire world to the human world. Split into 3 pieces given to 3 human women with a guardian (good vampires) to watch over them. The book however fell flat with the characters. Sebastian was not leading man material. He was definitely not who I would want to be watching over me and protecting [...]

    23. I didn't know this was a reprint and maybe this is the reason why this book seemed to me so "aged"; I thought at the beginning that it was because the heroine is stupid enough that she has to be saved more than once, but maybe it is because there is not sex and neither enough vampirism, compared to the actual standards in booksNon sapevo fosse una ristampa, ma forse è questa la ragione per cui questo libro mi sembrava così "vecchio"; all'inizio pensavo che fosse per l'immensa stupidità dell'e [...]

    24. Not my cup of tea It's set in London in olden days. I'm not sure if the author mentioned which century or if I just didn't pay attention. I don't like these kinds of books. The problem with setting it in the past is that it's extremely limiting. "Ladies" were not allowed to be around gentlemen unaccompanied, it wasn't "proper." So the flirtations were extremely subtle in my mind, while scandalous in the character's mind. One kiss and the girl was ready to be "bond for eternity" to this vampire w [...]

    25. "My Lord Immortality" by Alexandra Ivy. Third installment of the Immortal Rogues Trilogy. A historical paranormal romance.I really enjoyed this last installments. A really good ending to the trilogy. The main characters, Sebastian and Amelia, have very good chemestry together. Although very light on the physical intimacy scenes, it was actually kind of a nice change from a "hot and heavy" type romance. The scenes are beautifully described and the description of feelings between Sebastian and Ame [...]

    26. Relatively short and not too thrilling, this book still is a relatively good read. It's the third in a trilogy, and I haven't read the others - so that may have been a good reason as to why I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have - but for what I paid for it, I'd say it was worth the money.I would either borrow a copy from the local library or buy a copy from a used and/or outlet bookstore. The full original price is more that enough for this book, but the discounted prices are much better. I [...]

    27. It was light reading for me. I prefer more intrigue, more charismatic characters and a much longer plot. I haven't read any other books in this series and I'm really into the historical romances but I prefer a book that's more descriptive especially when it comes to the clothing, locations etc. I want to feel like I am in the book with all the characters and merely looking on. Ms Ivy is an excellent writer but I felt the book could have embellished more of the period it was set in.

    29. I waited years to finally read this trilogy because it felt too tame for me, at that time, but I'm glad, I came back and read them :) Great ending especially linking the main characters from the previous stories to help. This book had a great flow. Loved how endearing her brother was throughout the book too. Another great couple :D. Even though this book was the most innocent of the three, in terms of the intimacy between the main characters. lol.

    30. I read this out of order so I was a littler bit confused. I know I read the 1st book I am missing the 2nd book. I liked it because it was a fast read but I did not know it wasn't apart of her of series. For me it was a bit slow and dated. Even the "climax" was dull for me. I got very good descriptions of Amelia and Sebastian but the other characters fell flat for me.This book definitely is not captivating like all her others.
