difficult to follow the characters The first part of the book is filled with flashbacks as well as visions Add to that the different names for the main character and it took a while to figure out the perspective or who was who There were a few places where the story just jumped without much explanation At one point for example, the character wakes up in the morgue but there is no explanation for what hap I really, really liked this story but holy smokes there were numerous times where it was difficult to follow the characters The first part of the book is filled with flashbacks as well as visions Add to that the different names for the main character and it took a while to figure out the perspective or who was who There were a few places where the story just jumped without much explanation At one point for example, the character wakes up in the morgue but there is no explanation for what happened Did she actually die How did she wake up again It s a bit confusing It was this confusion that kept me from giving a higher rating I ve actually bought the second in the series because I really did like the story overall I also enjoyed the characters and am looking forward to
