    1. Wow, Monroe, the male mc, is a giant douchebag. I hated him and his book. I really only read this trying to figure out the mystery of what the doctor was doing, but unless it's exterminating all these characters, I no longer care.Monroe wants Eden and when she says no to it & anything else in the book, he manipulates her. He uses her children against her and uses them to get what he wants. He should die. Kick to the ballsack. Boom.

    2. Delicious :D I will be coming back for seconds ;)Song Choice: "Taking Control" by Eisley, "Too Afraid To Love You" by The Black Keys, And "Lonely Boy" The Black Keys. First thoughts: Okay I am a seasoned, veteran reader of Susan Bliler. I am pretty sure my first book with her was Territory - and from then on I was hooked. Nothing could stop me! I was an insta-fan! With her last release Leto I found myself yeah still in love but also I don't know it wasn't my favorite Susan book - sorry Susan if [...]

    3. I have read and liked the previous books but not this one.Except for their love and devotion to abandoned skinwalker children, I didn't care for the hero or heroine.I understand that he was the premier alpha leader and needed a tough woman at his side but I felt thathe was just arrogantly domineering andshe was high-handed and tiresome.

    4. I don't think Susan is going to write a Skin Walker book that I don't like! (knocks on wood)Susan has become and auto-buy for me since the first book I read, Conn. I love books about men that are all Alpha, and got a little bit of animal in them, they growl, snarl, and the world MINE rumbles out of their chest like a barbarian. Seriously, I don't care how non-feminist that is. I like the books, get over it! Monroe's book was a really pleasant surprise. It was a bit different than the other books [...]

    5. 3.5 stars. There were a lot of things I liked about this book - the H and h, the kids, smexy stuff, and overall development of their relationship. The h in particular was really good. Overall, an enjoyable read. However, I have one big issue which made me round down - she changed the rules! In the previous books, we are told that as soon as the Skin Walker meets his angel and looks into her eyes, he is hit with the bond. Now we are told that it can happen later?! WTF? While I would have been fine [...]

    6. This was completely unexpected. I thought this was going to be a cute and short read. But, no, this was amazing. I really liked it. I read Monroe instead of book one in the series, King, because I have a thing for head honchos.I liked Eden, she was badass and fierce.Monroe was okay, I liked him, but I didn't love him. Sometimes I read his voice with an accent in my head. The supporting characters were great, without them I don't know if the story would've been as good as it was.Monroe and Eden's [...]

    7. I won an audio copy of Monroe, and boy was I lucky! This was a fantastic listen and I can't believe that I haven't gotten on the Skin Walker bandwagon before now. I love a good paranormal series that focuses on one couple at a time and that is exactly what Bliler delivers in the Skin Walker series. If you are a fan of stories like Laurann Dohners' New Species series this would be a good addition to your reading list. I had no problem reading this one as a stand alone, but I know that I have miss [...]

    8. I absolutely just LOVE Susan Bliler's writing!!! SW Monroe is one of the long awaited books to be released and I am not disappointed in the least after reading it. :) Before I go into "details" with my review, I need to make a point that I will not give away to much detail. PERIOD. I strongly believe that a review that does can spoil it for readers to come. They can also cause the reader to look for those parts in the book, which again, can ruin it. Another thing I can't and WON'T do is write a [...]

    9. I was sooo looking forward to Monroe's book as he is one hot alpha male and he was my favourite in the series. The heroine Eden, once again let this book down. She was just too combatively stubborn, even towards her own safety. I did not like that she uses her children as a crutch against life. Monroe as the head of the Skin Walkers needed someone tough, smart but also soft and I did not feel that Eden brought this to their relationship. I think Susan tried to show Eden as tough but she just came [...]

    10. No words can describe how much I love this series. From the awesome and believable characters to their problems and their situations Such a recommendation their are no words to describe how much I adore this series. I am just gonna sit in a corner and slowly die until there is another one to read.

    11. I'm just going to say this series is brilliant!Love the alpha males characters in this series. Monroe head of the North America skin walkers finally meets his angel. The story is gripping from the beginning to the end, I can't wait for the next one to be released.

    12. Interesting take on shapeshifters. Not the worst paranormal romance, not the best. I'm not sure I liked the whole intimidation, submission thing. I was interested in the story and liked it (somewhat) but the romance section did leave me a little conflicted. Could have been much better.

    13. This book was soooo worth the wait!! I finished it the same day I bought it. Can not wait for the next book in the series. I hope its York's story!!!

    14. This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to keep you riveted to the pages of this book!Susan Bliler is a very unique and imaginative storyteller that has created a world where myths are truth! I'm recommending this book and series to everyone who enjoys reading about something different! One of Your Greatest Fans,Lena deLeonlenadeleon2004.ld@gmail

    15. Loved Monroe's Story!I loved this story of Monroe & his strong Angel. The protection and love of the 5 kids was really heartwarming, too!

    17. This my first Skin Walker novel, I apparently by-passed the other three and dived in for Monroe :PI have a different review for different parts of the book. Summing it up i can to my rating of Exactly! 2.5 stars. Meaning i kind of liked it but just couldnt accept it. (ie the book, not my grudging liking to it.)Im going to divide the book in three parts and then review each part. The BeginningAbout 50 pages into the book and i had my review all figured out. . .i was gonna rate this a solid 2 stars [...]

    18. 4th book in the series got me wishing I went for Leto first. When Game Warden, Eden StCloud, goes up against CEO, Monroe StoneCrow, she encounters the most intimidating, powerful, and sexy man she’s ever seen. Unaware of the fact that Monroe is the Dominant Skin Walker in North America, it isn’t until Eden becomes enmeshed in his life that she realizes it’s too late to escape. Worse, she’s drawn the children under her care into the lair of the beast and must now succumb to Monroe’s desi [...]

    19. I was completely blown away by Susan's New Skin Walker Novel.I will say that I was so excited to have found her but was dissapointed when I read her previous works. I really, really hate it when an author produces one novel that is absolutely gut wrenching and brilliant; but all the others are bland in comparison. I equally hate it when novels were ALMOST something. It's hard to explain. It's like a cake without vanilla extract.By far, Monroe is her most splendid work to date in my opinion. *bat [...]

    22. Oh Eden how much I liked you, "my father is dead, and there is no husband. I run this property, and unfortunately for you, I've run out of patience. Good day Mr. StoneCrow." She's a saucy lil' thing, "oh for crying out loud! If you're going to forego the use of my title than call me Edie. I hate it when people call me Eden." Monroe is protective, "when he was closer he scented bloodher blood. Enraged he let loose a ferocious roar hoping to stop whatever attack was happening." He likes things a c [...]

    23. it comes to protecting and building his Skin Walker safe haven. He has a tendency to manipulate his people for the betterment of the whole. Is he right maybe not but he is completely capable to lead and take the fallout for his actions positive or negative. He has watched his warriors go through the mating process called Affliction with a self centered satisfaction that his people will unite and procreate to strengthen their numbers and build a stronger community and future. After having the ple [...]

    24. I can't get enough of this series, this book was amazing as I had been expecting it. I was going to read this book later because I knew that I was going to be good and exciting but I couldn't wait and I was thankful that this book was exceeding my expectations. But there were many parts of the book that took me by surprise but I loved that and it made this book stand out. It was an amazing book and at first, I thought that Eden wasn't Monroe's true mate and I had to read the blurb again to make s [...]

    25. 3.5 StarsI wasn't real fond of the H, Monroe in this one, though he definitely had some redeeming moments that I loved. He's self-important, high-handed and smug. Eden tell him to call her Edie because she hates being called Eden, so what does he do? He smirks and calls her Eden. Gawd, he was annoying. He manipulated Eden and pushes his way into her life. I wanted to see him suffer and I was glad when he did. With the exception of Monroe and his high-handedness I really enjoyed the book. It's fa [...]

    26. Oh how the mighty have fallen! To see the resident hard-ass Monroe fall completely, devastingly and ridiculously for his mate was beyond satisfying! He even tried to cheat the system, nobly of course, and that backfired even worse for him(view spoiler)[ The only one problem was that he wasn't afflicted right away, it was if he knew he was attracted to Eden but he also knew she wasn't the one. That was extremely painful to read, especially as Eden was giving so much of herself and you knew she wa [...]

    27. Arrogant and ornery Monroe final found his Angel in Eden. I was truly wondering how Monroe's story will be told as he's doing nothing but barking and yelling orders in the other books and couldn't see anything past his 'difficult' character. Because of this, I put off reading this for a while as I didn't think I would end up liking him and his story, but, I am so glad I gave it a chance.I loved Eden, her children, and how she interacted with Monroe. We got to see a lot of the other characters in [...]

    28. No, no, no-no, no. I was enjoying the narrative so much but then near the end of the book, Eden loses her temper, demanding that Monroe "fix" a problem that he created. (view spoiler)[Namely, he contacts the birth parents of the four children she has been raising over the past two years. She's livid when the mother of the youngest toddler wants to see her daughter. Heart wrenching? Oh, yes. I have the utmost respect for foster parents who go through this. Yet Eden refuses to allow even a meeting [...]
