    About "B.L. Mooney"

      • B.L. Mooney

B.L Mooney started writing when the voices and storylines in her head ran out of room They were getting too cramped and neither B.L nor the characters could take it any, so she did the only thing she could do she made room She always knew she wanted to write, but vowed to make time for it later Now that she s made time for writing, most everything else falls to the wayside That seems to suit the characters that keep popping up just fine.B.L lives in the Midwest and her other talents include in demand cookies, a very dry sense of humor, and stealth eavesdropping Some mannerisms, attitudes, or twists come from random sentences picked up while passing by strangers So speak up the next time you have something to gossip about You never know, it may just end up on the pages of the next book you read.

    1. 4 StarsComing Home is one of those books that you pick up, and the next thing you know you’re 80% through with the book. It’s a romantic suspense that keeps you on your toes as the main character, Rebecca, moves to Dallas in search of her birth parents. Along the way she runs into many roadblocks as someone is very much against her being there and will stop at nothing to get her to leave town and go back home. The questions are why and who. The author writes a story where anyone could be a s [...]

    2. This review can also be found here: brittanyandbiancablabbooks.blo3.5 stars!I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. The only truth Rebecca knows is that she is adopted. She does not know the circumstances that involve her adoption or her birth parents. Although it bothers her adoptive mother, Rebecca is determined to find the people that gave her up so many years ago. When she moves hours away from home for a job, she meets Ryan. They have so much more in common than either of them t [...]

    3. Coming Home is the story that made me fall in love again with romantic suspense stories. I have tended to stay away from these recently as I have overly fond memories of those child and teen ones and never found a romantic suspense that made me do thisMake a video trailer and send it to the author!youtube/watch?v=oP5Xz5This is something totally out of my comfort zone and something I never would have thought I would be doing when I started blogging last year. This book is sweet but at the same ti [...]

    4. What an enjoyable, intriguing YA read! With the knowledge acquired from an early age that she is adopted, Rebecca has always desired to seek out her birth parents. She has a very supportive set of adoptive parents who understand her passion for discovering her past. She takes a job in Dallas that will allow her to conduct her background search. She instantly bonds with her new boss Matt and his wife Vickie, whom the reader realizes very quickly will play an integral role in the storyline. She me [...]

    5. Revew 3.75 starsI enjoyed this book. There is suspense and a great who done it feel. There are some mysteries and not everything in this book is immediately revealed. I enjoyed Rebecca as a main character. She is confident in herself and developed as a great main character. There were times when I felt like the people around her were treating her more like a twenty year old than an independent twenty six year old. I was sometimes bothered that this strong character let people around her take cha [...]

    6. What a great story! A sweet romance but with suspense and intrigue as well. I loved the characters and really enjoyed watching their relationships grow throughout the book. I don't know what I was really expected but I have to say I got more than I bargained for. Which was a pleasant surprise! Usually I am pretty good at predicting ths outcome of various plot twists but I had to reevaluate my theories a couple times. Some of it I was right about but others got me I enjoyed that! I love Ryanch a [...]

    7. Review: by:Wendy 4 stars Rebecca knows one truth, she's adopted. She has a mother and father who loves her but she can't stop wondering who and why she was given away. Rebecca, a graphic designer, is given a job opportunity in Dallas, which happens to be where she is from. This is a chance to try and find her birth parents and find out what plaques her dreams.Once Rebecca arrives she meets an array of different people, who all seem to have different quirks, secrets, and motives. Someone knows he [...]

    8. If this book is on your must read list, don't wait to read it! No Cliffhanger either! :)B.L. Mooney has truly captured a love story in this book, along with mystery and suspense. You think you know what is going to happen and then out of left field it changes. This book was a book I couldn't put down. I enjoy how Ms. Mooney gives so much detail and really brings to live these characters. I laughed out loud, gasped and even shed a few tears. I love a good book that can suck you in from the first [...]

    9. This is a love/mystery. Its loaded with twists and turns, but the ride is worth it!! This is a MUST read!

    10. It had a good story line and though I kind of had it figured out pretty early, I really didn't! But there was a LOT of drama, got to be a little too much sometimes.

    11. Rebecca has always known she's adopted. It's kind of hard to hide that fact in a small town when you bring home a five year old girl one day, so her adoptive parents have always been upfront and honest with Rebecca about it. That still hasn't stopped Rebecca from wondering who her birth parents are and why they gave her up from adoption. She always wonders why she wasn't good enough for them to keep. When the opportunity presents itself, Rebecca applies for a job in Dallas at an advertising firm [...]

    12. *I was given a copy of this book in return for a honest review*I have to say this book started out really slow. You would think you were reading about someone you knew life. I have to say that I really have a lot of resect for Rebecca when most people would have given up. She had stayed strong and continue to fight to find her birth parents. When the truth came out I thought she would have handle it better then she did. It will take time. The part that upset me the most was you had read about he [...]

    13. 3.5 StarsI really enjoyed the beginning of this book. Loved Rebecca's character and her storyline of wanting to go find her birth family. The story progressed nicely (loved the romance aspect of it), until the end. I had a sneaking suspicion about the end, but I did not imagine it playing out in that way at all. Definitely an interesting twist but still the ending felt a bit forced for me and then the story seemed to end abruptly (but that could just be me--I love long epilogues). This is a pret [...]

    14. Great Story . . .Just needs more polishReally good story. The characters have depth and the storyline was believable. I think this author improve with time and practice.
