    1. Hmmmm so there were pros and cons I found when I read this book. It had cute momentsThe things that I did like The concept or the idea of the story The twins were a good addition Daniel and Lexie had some good moments Quick and easy read and not too heavyThings that I didn't care for The story was predictible Didn't feel Lexie's love for Daniel since she was still was flirting with the idea of another The love of Daniel, Eddie and Lexie escalated way too quickly which it made it hard to believe [...]

    2. Having read Dakota Madison's Matchplay only a few days before I started Slow No Wake I knew I would be reading another contemporary NA romance. Except, for me, Slow No Wake, lacked the spark of Matchplay and Lexie was certainly not the tenacious female I wanted her to be. In fact, her indecisiveness irritated me, and I tolerated her for the sake of the story. It was not only in her relationships with Eddie and Daniel that I felt her character should have been more emphatic, but definitely when h [...]

    3. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this, for several reasons. There were quite a few editing errors, which I could overlook if there was some type of story flow or connection to the characters. There were several points where I stopped and said, "uh no more", but I forged on hoping it would get better.I thought the premise was a good one, but it wasn't executed well. I really didn't care much for Lexie or Daniel, I was more interested in Eddie and what was going on with him.It just felt like [...]

    4. What did I just read? What the H did I just read? I hate giving low rating but this one deserved it. A book that normally takes me maximum 2 hours to read took me over 2 days, that goes to show. I can't, I just cant. I had a major headache all throughout this read. Feels like this book was written by an over eager, starry-eyed eleven year old and boy do i believe an eleven year old could've done a better job. All in all. I sound bitter, cold and hostile, so I'll just stop here.

    5. My, oh my. When the love triangle in this story was first brought to light, I braced myself for an emotional roller coaster. I definitely got emotional, but not in the way I was expecting. With a love-scarred heroine, a hottie coworker, and a egotistical womanizer all in the mix, it was bound to get ugly, especially when they all live right next to each other. Lexie's decision to head to Florida so she could escape the drama and upheaval that resulted from her broken engagement didn't turn out r [...]

    6. From my blog.**ARC provided by author for an honest review**First of all, I can't. I just can't rate this book fairly. Sorry! Therefore, there's no rating. There's a really good reason I usually don't read books with love triangles. I usually fall head over heels in love with the wrong guy and end up with the worst case of broken heart. Still I decided to give this book (that has a beautiful, beautiful cover, by the way) a try. I honestly wish I could turn back time and not read it It just hurts [...]

    7. I can never pass up a good love triangle book, so when I read the synopsis and saw it: 1) had a beach setting, 2) had a love triangle, and 3) was a NA contemporary, I knew I had to read it.I really enjoyed this book. I did find something slightly off with the writing style; it felt a bit juvenile at times, but I was able to ignore that and really enjoy the story between Lexie, Eddie, and Daniel. I did have an issue with how the end just cut off. It didn't cut off to a point where I didn't receiv [...]

    8. I liked this book. Who wouldn't want 2 men want them at the same time.Lexie ended her engagement because she caught him cheating and get this with her sister!! oh dang. She decides to move to Florida to get a new start and to swear off men.Well I can say that didn't happen. Eddie was 1 of her 2 suffer neighbors who perused her the minute she moved in. Daniel was a co-worker who was shy but wanted to get to know her better. I didn't really feel a connection with Daniel and Lexie. I think she wante [...]

    9. Lexie finds her sister in bed with her fiancé and decides to start over. She leaves the Midwest and moves to Florida and wants to keep her life uncomplicated. She decides she wants to live with a Slow No Wake attitude, meaning no drama. I get it, life would be nice without so much drama!Lexie starts her new life moving into a new apartment where she meets Eddie her next door neighbor and requisite man-whore. He comes on strong but is fun and friendly too. There is a hint that there is something [...]

    10. Slow No Wake was about a young woman, Lexie who, after being cheated on by her fiance, with her sister, moves across the country to start over. Her plan is to take some time for herself, with peace and celibacy but as with life, plans rarely work out. As she is moving into her new apartment, she meets Eddie whom she is immediately drawn to. He's the womanizer that a girl just can't resist. "I don't do two-night stands." As she starts her new job, she meets Daniel. He wasn’t the type I normally [...]

    11. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.Lexie has just been dumped by her fiancé in the worst possible way. She decides to start over in Florida and her new mantra is “Slow No Wake” as in the sailing terminology of slowing down when boats enter the marina thereby leaving no wake. As luck would have it, she has a neighbor, surfer Eddie, who is stunningly hot and ballsy, and a co-worker Daniel of the same caliber of hotness but only much nicer than the bad boy next door. Little doe [...]

    12. I don't know how I feel about this book I didn't like how Lexie cried over everythingI mean I understand about being hurt by ur ex and ur sister but I just wanted to yell at her to grow a pair.d Eddie was an ass to Daniel I totally would have went for Eddie, just because I like the bad boys, but if I was Daniel I would have kick his ass in college and then kick him to the curbdidn't understand that relationship and felt that the author could have put a little time into telling us about them and [...]

    13. So New Adult is such an up and coming field. I know a lot of bloggers who have resisted it. But I love it. That borderline is great, somewhere between adult romances and YA is perfect for me!ANYWAY… This book, it was good. I really liked Lexie. She shows up in Florida really broken and broken hearted and really learns to live again. Being chased by two different guys is a challenge she wasn’t expecting, but one that seems to work for her.Dakota Madison writes a truly appealing story. I reall [...]

    14. Lexie wants a drama free life. Free from waves so she makes her own catch phrase "Slow No Wake". However, she really isn't very good at abiding by her new motto. She is quickly attracted to not one but two gorgeous men that both want her bad. While Slow No Wake is a quick and enjoyable read it's a little predictable. The characters were definitely my favorite part of this novel. Lexie's co-workers were written perfectly. Serenity and twin sister Trinity were hilarious and for some reason I ended [...]

    15. I liked the story here but the characters annoyed me a little bit. First of all Daniel was way too insecure and over the top protective. He went through a bad breakup and is vulnerable, we get it, but dude needed to RELAX. Also Eddie was too cocky without being charming. It bugged me that every time Lexie looked at him her panties melted. WHY? Sure some people have chemistry but that usually entails liking at least one of the other person's character traits. I dunno, I liked it well enough to fi [...]

    16. This was ok. I didn't quite get why Daniel and Eddie were so close, since Eddie was a total jerk. I also didn't quite understand Lexie's desire to ruin the thing with Daniel by getting close to Eddie.

    17. It was ok but I had to suspend the believable with it some. I had read another book by this author, Be Good, and I liked that one much better than this one.

    19. I am sorry, life is to short to finish books that don't hook you in. For me the characters did not draw me in and I had no desire to continue on their journey no matter how short it may be.
