    1. I read this as an experiment, following the previous books in the series. I spent a total of 5.02 on the series, receiving the first book for free from Google Play, and purchasing the second and third (this one). The editing is terrible, almost to the point of being unintentionally humorous. Constant misuse of homonyms is jarring (waist/waste site/sight), the author misspells several words (ie. solo plexus), confuses characters in the middle of a paragraph, changes the spelling of character's nam [...]

    2. Ok I am officially calling it a day on this series of books. In fact, I actually cannot bring myself to even finish this bookThe clichés are just getting silly, there is literally no suspense or drama I'm pretty sure at one stage the wrong character name was used. There are no cliff hangers or twists Everything works out for the better, everything is "a pure shot" or "an exact hit" it's all rather infuriating. Can someone please be killed off? Someone other than the expected I really would not [...]

    3. Slightly less interesting than book 2, but I'm glad the book jumped ahead and did not take place during such a short time period as the previous ones have. I'm actually starting to look at the books in this series as episodes in a TV-show, because of that they are so short and - with the exception of this one - do not cover much time. And then there's the fact that they start off sort of solving things left off from the previous book, things calm down (somewhat) and then there's a new cliffhange [...]

    4. This series just keeps getting worse. I will never trust the ratings has for books again. This series had a good rating on their website and they were cheap books so I bought them. The first one was okay, the second one was still okay but it was dropping starting to lean towards the not so okay rating. Number three here? I almost don't have words. This was an easy read that I would recommend to younger teens because the writing style is simple and the characters have those stupidly big emotions [...]

    5. ++SPOILERS++I liked it. Again we are left with a cliffhanger and I will buy then next one of course to find out what happens next. The good:The romance is done right, I suppose it's because the author is female. Sorry guys, but us women know what we want and likeunfortunately few male authors get it right IMO.The pace is good and there is decent action although few people die and it is a bit predictable. There were some times it got a little slow during the training parts.r me. it all seemed pred [...]

    6. Glaring grammatical, spelling, and editorial errors killed this book/series for me. It could have been very interesting but the author seems in places to have lost all sense of the world being created. The supreme lack of description and poor use of homonyms just drags everything down. This writer is in desperate need of a reliable editor.

    7. This author seriously needs to decided what audience she is writing to, desperately needs a proof reader and in places a reality check. Like all of the books in this series so far, it is full of spelling and grammatical errors, punctuation in the wrong places and very obvious inconsistencies - sometimes in the same paragraph! The following section particularly annoyed me:"The arrow carried the rope higher and higher through the air, until it reached the very top of the cliff and looped itself ar [...]

    8. This may be the worst book I have ever read. Why did I finish it, because I feel I should give it a chance which was a poor reason for this book. Looking at the publishing dates of this series of young adult books I think I understand what is going on. The writer is cranking these out about every month and a half and it is obvious in her writing. It is simply totally formulaic canned fantasy with numerous examples of poor grammar and a total lack of any original idea. Everything is amazing and m [...]

    9. So The only reason I haven't smashed my eReader through the floor in a futile attempt to send this series straight to hell is because I did not use my own money to buy it but rather the left overs of an iTunes gift card. I've read several reviews for this series since I've started and many people who give it a rating of 3 or higher claim that it is a great young adult read. As I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember I can say with firm and resolute conviction that if I had read [...]

    10. While I know I am repeating myself, this is another masterpiece from this author. In this third episode, our hero Thor goes for his training in a distant island, together with other members of his group. But that is not a regular trip. His training will last one hundred days, in an island full of dangerous places, with cyclops, dragons, and warriors from all over the places. And the trip to the island is an adventure on its own. But while he is at the island, things in the Ring deteriorate quick [...]

    11. Bravo!!!! Wow, yet another great adventure for the reader. Morgan Rice has elevated the character stories even more so in this 3rd book, and has even managed to leave us atop another cliff as the final chapter comes to a heart racing hault. Without giving too much away, I found myself lost in the pages and turning chapter after chapter eager to find out more about Thor's powers and adventures with the Hundred. Morgan is a master at creating tension and anticipation, bringing the reader close to [...]

    12. This series is highly derivative and lacks in creativity. The writing is not very sophisticated. But if you're looking for a cheap, quick, mindless read, this fits the bill. Despite my rather ambivalent attitude toward the series, I keep reading it. It's a rather guilty pleasure.

    13. As stated in my earlier reviews Morgan Rice is in dire need of an editor. Thor feels accepted for the first time in his life no less than four distinct times. I have no idea what book the people giving four and five star reviews if those aren't from paid reviewers then I can only guess they are family members of Rice. I was given the entire series by a friend (though I am now wondering if he really isn't a frenemy after this 'gift'). Reading these books feels more and more like I have received A [...]

    14. A Feast Of Dragons is probably one of the most action packed books in the first three books in the trilogy. I really recommend reading this book because Thor goes in the Empire where he has to survive one hundred days with the legion while training with the most elite warriors of the world. I also like this book because Thor battles a Dragon the size of a mountain and kills a hundred foot giant. Also in this book Thor starts to develop powers he nexr had which now believes him to think if hes hu [...]

    15. The book cover has a lovely sight of the medieval castle with the sunset in the background. I give this book 5 stars.

    16. Could have used more details in this story. 100 days went by in the turn of a page. The editor must have wanted this book to be shorter.

    17. This book came up recently on BookBub or Deals. I'd seen it around and I thought it had pretty good ratings, and it may not but it certainly has a lot of them. That's four hours of my life I'll never get back.Going in, I managed to not notice that this was a book 3, but I'm certainly not going to double back to read #1 and 2. If I'd realized that it was going to end on a cliffhanger, I would have dropped it before speed-reading through to the end. There was a tremendous amount going on in this [...]

    18. I really wanted to give this series a chance. I mean, at $3 per ebook, the three stories are worth the $9. Who knows? I may finish the other ten books at some point. However, there are too many things that outright annoy me about the writing that I can't give the stories any more than 3 stars.Firstly, this series is a cheap knockoff of Game of Thrones. That's obvious, to me at least. (I will admit that some of the following parallels are weak, but there are so many, that it feels obvious to me.) [...]

    19. Third book in The Sorcerer's Ring series. It was another good book in an epic adventure of Thor. Nice quick read!Thor and the rest of the boys are off to the Hundred. One hundred days of training outside of the ring across the sea. There they go to fight, train, learn to be soldiers of the Legion if they do not killed in the process. They have to swim in an ocean of sea monsters who try to kill them, scale cliffs hundreds of feet high, sleep on the hard ground without even a blanket, train with w [...]

    20. This third in the series begins to broaden the story beyond that of Thor. Other characters introduced in the first 2 novels begin to rate their own chapters. Thor is in the final "100 days" of his basic Legion training.First paragraphsKing McCloud charged down the slope, racing across the Highlands, into the MacGils’ side of the Ring, hundreds of his men behind him, hanging on for dear life as his horse galloped down the mountain. He reached back, raised his whip, and brought it down hard on t [...]

    21. Arg. I think there might be a decent story here, which is why I give it two stars, but it is buried under too many issues. First there are the grammatical errors, which many have pointed out, and I won't repeat. Given that the book is self-published, I guess I can forgive those. Others have pointed out the implausibility of character interactions. Fate gets me around some of the “love at first sight” stuff, I guess. What finally did this series in for me were the inconsistencies. Every other [...]

    22. Okay, a brief explanationThese books would be well suited to coming-of-age boys, and while I am a middle-aged woman, I love tales of dragons! Sadly, this ongoing series has (so far) mostly been a tease on that point, and the one dragon encounter was completely unrealistic (based on my other readings of dragons, which surely must be correct, right?). Anyway, note to the author: Hire an Editor! It is amazing how many typos I've found in these books; mostly in the form of either missed words or wor [...]

    23. I just thought I would take a moment to give a heads up about these books. I completely enjoy the story, which is why I have worked my way through the first three books. I want to find out where the author is taking the main characters, specifically Gwen, Thor and Erec. I even want to find out what's going to happen to Gareth! The reason I chose to say 'why I have worked my way through' is because at some points in the story the author's method of having us follow the character's train of thought [...]

    24. I enjoyed reading this book. It was awesome. King McCloud moving rapidly across the Highlands into the Mac Gil's side of the Ring with hundreds of his men to back him up . He's hanging on to the horse he's riding for all he's worth gallop down the mountain. McCloud through all the men being in the fields, unarmed, its women home, tending linens on strings, barley dressed in the summer clime. House doors were open chicken roamed freely cauldrons already broiling with dinner. He through of all the [...]

    25. I find myself intrigued with this story. I think the writing isn't as good as some others that I have read, but none the less, I am enjoying the story. I had to wonder though at something- In the first book or two, Thor was told he was going to be a great king destined to do something great and then, he is destined to die. hmmm. Gwendolyn saves him by making a deal with Argon to give up a part of her own life. We don't know what that is exactly, but it sounds kind of dire. Who is Argon? Is he a [...]

    26. It was really hard for me to give this book only 2 stars.Thor and Gwendolyn are once again reunited and the action packed book continues. This time Thor finds out more about himself than he wanted to and Gwendolyn finds out which direction her life will go in. The two are in the fight for their very lives and the lives of the ones they love as they are beginning to see that their are enemies all around.I love this series but this addition falls short of my expectations. A couple of the fight sce [...]
