Born and bred Cleveland, I earned a degree in technical theater, later switched to costuming, and headed to NYC Finally seeing the futility of trying to become rich and famous in the Big Apple, I joined VISTA, ending up in Chicago for three years Then it was on to Denver where I put down roots and worked as a costume designer until just recently I began writing five years ago after joining an on line fanfic group Two friends and I then started a group for writers where they may post any story they wish, no matter the genre I ve now branched out into writing on my own, primarily m m stories, both erotic and just romantic , for publication.

    1. Sort of spoilerish The blurb sort of sets it up, although the Mom doesn't abandon Neal, she is kidnapped and murdered. The cop, Kenyon, who finds him takes a great interest in him and his welfare and Neal also bonds with him.His social worker Teo also takes an interest in Kenyon and Neal. There was some issue with Teo being a player and Kenyon only wanting a solid relationship, but it was told that way, but I never saw what the issue was, then they move in together and take Neal ind HEA. There was [...]

    2. If you are going to read this book thinking it will be a suspense, thriller plot, with a touch of paranormal, in my humble opinion, you will be disappointed, because this is not, even the culprit gets caught very soon, honestly, I didn't mind that at all. This is a romance story, and if you read this book taking that in consideration, then this is for you.Perhaps you will be wonder why I rated this story 5 stars. In the pass every time I have read a book from this Author, I thought the Mc's behav [...]

    3. This story is really weird. The main storyline started good even interesting, but then everything fell apart, at least for me. Kenyon and Teo didn't work for me as a couple. Or to be precise even as characters, both of them were plain boring. Okay, Kenyon wasn't at first. Everything what happens between Kenyon and Teo felt forced and unrealistic. I won't start on emotions in this story, I could easily ask; Where were they? I didn't like this story and because of it, can't recommend it on!

    4. Did I miss something? What happened to Neal's dad and Neal's psychic powers? That's the only reason I kept reading til the end and it wasn't addressed. :(

    5. Reviewed for Confessions from RomaholicsReview at Confessions from RomaholicsThis is a simple, sweet romance that has a small twist. Love always finds a way to sneak up on people and this time it hits Teo and Kenyon. Teo isn’t sure he’s ready to settle down yet, while Kenyon has been holding out, waiting for love. Yet when they come together with a common bond being Neal, neither can ignore the sparks of attraction that seem to encompass them. They must work together to keep Neal safe from h [...]

    6. Yin and Yang by Edward Kendrick2.5 StarsReviewed for heartsonfirereviewsKenyon, a street cop, finds a seven year old boy, Neal, hiding in an alley all by himself. He talks with frightened boy and finds out that Neal and his mother had recently taken a bus to this city in order to hide from Neal's father. They have been living on the streets for months and that morning a man came and took his mother away. Teo is the social worker that responds to take care of Neal. 7. Kenyon is a cop and Teo is a social worker. They meet when Kenyon and his partner Pat stumble upon a homeless 7 year old boy. Kenyon is very drawn to both the boy and Teo. He soon finds out that Teo is a player and Kenyon is looking for something real. I really liked this book, but I am a big Edward Kendrick fan. This book is full of charming interesting characters. The storyline is intriguing with some mystery and a bit of drama. The sexual tension between Teo and Kenyon was hot. There was a bi [...]

    8. Fits and starts with no conclusion. multiple points if view at odd times. 12 years, if you count the Six years later that appear twice, and Teo still hadn't met the all of Kenyons 6 sisters? And the psychic angle just left to dangle. How odd. The other part that got to me was that I assumed this story happened in the present which means the 6 years and then 6 more years would be future. I would hope, pray and plead that by then a gay couple wouldn't have to travel to Toronto to get married unles [...]

    9. Love these MC's. Just 2 great guys. Very entertaining story. There is a 2nd book "Jersey" but it was published by Silver Publishing which was proved out to be a scam company so it's not available until the author puts it with another publisher. Jersey is a friend but only briefly mentioned in this book so it's not a big deal but I will buy it when it comes out (and re-read this one too since I enjoyed it so much!).

    10. While Yin and Yang was my first book by Edward Kendrick, it is definitely not going to be my last. His writing is smooth and engaging, and his characters are vividly portrayed and wonderfully complement each other.Great book, highly recommended!

    11. Huh. Well, that was weird. At first I kind of hated it, and then for a while I kind of loved it, and then toward the end I kind of felt like "enough already!" But this is my first book by this author, and I'm totally willing to try another.

    12. The MCs were pretty good. The one ran away without getting any of the story, I hate that. The weirdest thing was how the psychic plot of the kid and hisfamily just kinda went nowhere. Why bother with it at all if it was nothing?

    14. Ok, think I missed something here, what happened to Neals Dad after he was shot? Jail? Why have that plot and not follow through?

    15. This is a great story and I really loved the interaction of all the characters. And I double like (is that a good phrase) the double epilogue at the end of the story. It was a neat feature.
