    About "Sean Michael"

      • Sean Michael

Often referred to as Space Cowboy and Gangsta of Love while still striving for the moniker of Maurice, Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to Chicago A long time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.Barring any of that He ll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

    1. I'm pretty sure I'm a masochist deep down - and a pathetic one, as well. Otherwise, why would I keep on reading this series, even though I absolutely detested the first book. Or, we could call me an optimist, who keeps on trying and trying to find the bright points in books. That was my face after having read this book. Actually, this was my face 20 pages in the book, if not less. I liked the beginning. I even like Jason & Bishop. I tend to like Rook & Knight, too. As characters, not as [...]

    2. 4 Stars – 5 Flames Are you really considered a play toy when you’re living happily ever after? At least, that’s the way I see things for Jason. Sure, three different lovers play him with, but it’s not like he isn’t enjoying every minute. The thing I liked most about this installment was that there was a little more of a storyline to it. Jason loved all three of them, but it was Rook he’s falling IN love with. After a game of truth or dare, Jason starts to question if “being a play [...]

    3. Continuing the chess analogy that started in the first volume, the structure of the second book is very much 'the middle game'. Relationships deepen, lines are drawn, and each of the four men settles in his role. Like in the first book, the characters use sex to bond, communicate, and have fun at the same time. The result is more cover-to-cover sex, with the added ingredient of the game behind the scenes, with each encounter contributing to the growing and changing picture of the whole.Jason may [...]

    4. Like the first book in this series, this one is full of sex scenes. This one had a little more edge to it with a scene between Bish and Knight that pushed things a little. I also liked that it was Knight who foresaw a future problem. I am intrigued by these guys and curious where things are headed.

    5. Loved this!! So incredibly sexy yet some moments touched my heart. Since this is a series I think I'll wait till I'm finished with the entire series to do a proper review. Onto book 3 next!

    6. I like these guys just like the Jarhead boys. I don't like the cliffhangers at the end of the books, though. I enjoyed the "story".

    7. This is MMMM smut, nothing else. The plot is razor thin, even those there's the pretense of one. I liked Rook and Jason together, as they were super-sweet. Jason is falling in love with Rook, and that part was believable, but his feelings towards Knight and Bishop remained a mystery to me. The rest is a big smut fest, where it became hard (har, har) to keep all the hands, cocks, and balls straight (another lame pun, sorry). I was really missing an emotional connection to the characters, aside fr [...]

    9. REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCEBook 2 in the series picks up immediately where book 1 finished. Jason is becoming far more comfortable in his role but his role is losing definition. He was basically hired to play with three very sexual men but there are feelings becoming involved especially where Rook is involved. There is a slightly different feel to this book. Although the four men still play together there is a definite divide into two couples there as well. Knight is as needy as ever but jus [...]

    10. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. This story is about 4 guys in a polyamorous relationship. The next installment of the Chess series is all about naked guys having fun and loving each other. This story moves from one dirty scene to the next with very little story. For me there are two things of note. Firstly the fisting scene which isn't really my thing but it is well done. Secondly, a scene with piercing which had me squirming in my seat. It was good to rea [...]

    11. ~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~This is the second in the series - and you do need to read them in order to get the full storyline. I loved the first book, and whole premise behind the story. Inevitably there are questions in newbie Jason's mind - an heart - which come out in this part of the story. We also get much more of Knight's modus operandi and how Bishop cares for his needs. The title is well justified, as the plot consolidates what happens as [...]

    12. ~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~I am hooked on this series! I love these four men, they each bring something different to the relationship and man oh man is there a lot of hot sex. My favorite character Rook just makes me smile and I wish I had a Rookie of my own! In this book the men get closer but not as close as Jason and Rook, Jason realizes he loves Rook and doesn’t know what he is going to do with that information. Characters: well wri [...]

    13. **I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**Middle Game is a continuation of the story between Bishop, Knight, Rook and Jason. It's moved on from the beginning. Jason has moved into the house, he's agreed to be the boys play thing. Jason is a little unnerved by his level of comfort. He's never been with a man, let alone three, but each of them offer something different to Jason. What is the most unexpected is his feelings for Rook. Can he continue staying there kn [...]

    14. I am so in love with these four guysBishopThe pushy top who just loves his boys especially his KnightKnight the artist who never sleeps but needs all the time.Rook who's always on the go and loves everyone and everythingd sweet Jasending his feet and falling in love. These stories might be mostly sex but I still see a great story hereI've read these five times and i love them more than ever if you need a hot hot hot hot sexy full of sex readt going with theses boys x

    15. ★★☆☆☆ ~ 2 StarsOk, I know I complain about wanting more sex, but this series is over the top. I actually want some plot. Like how did Bishop and Knight get together, how did Rook join them? Chess piece names; how did that happen? Mine, mine, mine is just not enough. Well, enough of this series for me.

    16. I read this book for a challenge otherwise I probably wouldnt have continued on with this series. I looked really hard to find the 2 pages of plot in amongst the 100+ of porn. The piercing scene in this book really pissed me off. Knight said no, Bish said yes, you really want it.FFS. He said no, why do you think you know what he wants???Then straight after he has sex. Really?Urgh!

    17. HOLY SH*T !!! This book may be set in the winter time but SHEESH !! It's hotter than any summer on record !!! Some really intense sexy times for the guys but will they push their demands too far and cause Jason to flee ?? Absolutely AMAZING !! Loved it !!

    18. A little sadder than the first volumeWarning: This review might contain what some people consider SPOILERS. Rating: 7/10PROS: - We get a more solid picture in this installment of how each of the men complements each of the others, how each man brings something different to the relationship.- I like that Jason is forming different sorts of attachments to the three other men, and that he’s growing the attachments at different speeds. He’s happily falling head over heels for Rook, becoming frie [...]

    19. Review written for Love Bytes Reviews.Jason is finally starting to settle into his new life with Bishop, Knight, and Rook; he’s also begun admitting to himself that he likes men and that he really likes Rook. He’s still being pushed to his limits with new experiences, both in and outside of the bedroom, and after each new encounter with the men he’s quickly becoming attached to, he comes out of his shell a little more. A chance conversation with Rook has unintended consequences, however, a [...]

    20. I really like this series. Really Like it. I like all the characters, loved the new explorations on Jasons part, HOWEVER I find myself agreeing with Gabriel Wrights review (although not the 2 stars)While the book is funny in places, hot and sweet in others he's right in that it does often feel like a threesome or 2 couples. I percieved very little romantic feelings felt for Jason from Bishop (more of buddies) and most especially Knight, who appears to care very little for Jason other than a toy. [...]

    21. Can Jason be with three amazing men and not lose his heart in the process? Living with and being the play toy of three men is more rewarding than Jason could have imagined. Bishop, Knight and Rook each have their own way of loving on him. In Bishop he finds a work-out partner, friendship, and good solid lovemaking. He isn’t sure what to make of Knight, but the man is a brilliant artist and there are worse things than being Knight’s subject for his latest series of paintings. And the kinky th [...]

    22. Second book, all the guys have settled in to a routine and relationship. As Jason models for Knight and Rook and Bishop head off to work. After hours has become serious play time. With the guys pairing off and joining together. What we saw in the last book that has carried over into this one is Jason and Rook are developing a deeper relationship then Jason and the the other two, and this is starting to put a strain on things. Knight is still doing things with out thinking and Bishop is still havi [...]

    23. So, I’ve definitely confirmed (in case I didn’t believe myself LOL) there is a ton of smutty times in this series. Middle Game had maybe MORE than book 1. I didn’t even know that was possible. I will say this series, however, is a perfect escape from the deep dramas, the suffocating angsty books out there. Middle Game was emotional though. I love Jason and Rook’s relationship the best. They have this outstanding compatibility. Even when vulnerability (mostly on Jason’s part) is a major [...]

    24. I really feel bad for Jason at this point. He really needed this financially, but the 3 mains of the group kind of bowled him over and now he really is at their mercy. It seems as though he doesn't have any time or space for himself, and no matter how "sweet" a boy he is any person will start to feel enslaved and diminished in his position. Knight, Rook and Bishop are all independently wealthy and Jason was about to be evicted and living out of his car before he accepted their proposition and I [...]

    25. Cant believe I'm saying this but.umm to much point-less sexgh, the randomness sex without a base, too much. Was really hungry for a bit of plot, and the end how he just went with the flow after he expressed his love, unbelievable, well I guess its my fault tho what could I expect with 4 men togethergh and I LOVE this author toooh well.e 1st and last in this series I'm reading. Hope the next book I pick up belonging to this author satisfies my hunger lol.

    26. 3*I liked the first book Opening Moves. This book is moving toward two twosomes or it seems to me. Jason is fitting in nicely. Each person brings something different to the relationship. And each person needs something different. But I feel Jason is falling in love with Rook and Rook with him. Oh well off to the next on.

    27. We are back with these very sexy guys. But for Jason the new fourth things are getting more complicated. He loves all the guys but he realizes his feeling for Rook are in love. He battles with how to deal with his feelings. He has to decide what will hurt more leaving now or staying. I can't wait to see what happens next.

    28. It ain't improving. In fact I am disliking this more than the first one, because it doesn't feel like a particularly polyamorous relationship, just various couples having sex.Dear self: no more buying overpriced, substandard PWP.
