    1. And I'm done. :/ I hate it when I get to the last book in a series. It's depressing because I become so attached to the characters and their world. 1) again, I truly love this world. At least for me, it's different - unique and creative - and it's rich. There are still a few nuances, rules, and whatnot that I don't know (and would like to), but overall the author created a truly fantastic setting. A for that. 2) the two protagonists just stole my heart. Maggie was strong, willful, smart, talente [...]

    2. Did I say the 2nd was my favorite??? because I FREAKING LIED! This one, wasI dont even know. I am completely speechless. The emotions this book made me feel? Yeah, just look at the status updates, haha. I loved it, I hated it, It made me laugh, and cry, and smile and frown SO amazing, so, so amazing. The author did a tremendous job on this trilogy. I am SO sad its ended. I recommend it, most assuredly!

    3. Okay, So I just finished reading this book And I did enjoy it!I first came across this series several months ago when I was waiting for Fallen Eden by Nicole Williams to be released. I thought, Oh what the heck, it's $.99, why not give it a try! Well, let me tell you, I was glad that I gave it a try. I enjoyed it so much that I continued w/the second book Eternity, and then was surprised a couple of days ago when I discovered that Reckoning was out! I put another book that I was reading on hold, [...]

    4. Phwoarrrrrr. That is the only sound that comes to mind. This book was fully made of awesomesauce! The awesomeness started in the first page and kept going right up until the last word on the last page. Magdalene (Maggie) & Eran were even better in this one, I didn’t think it was possible. They are continuing their mission to eradicate the Fallen Ones to eternal death to save the alterums as well as the human race, but also so they can finally focus on their relationship and just being toget [...]

    5. So here’s what I think of the ‘Guardian Trilogy’ (may contain spoilers) I enjoyed reading ‘Fallen’, but for ‘Eternity’ and ‘Reckoning’ is a different story. It became boring for some reason. Book 2, which is eternity, is quite similar to Lauren Kate’s ‘Passion’ of the ‘Fallen’ series, which I find boring as well. Although I think Eternity is less boring, it’s the same concept as Passion. And how many times does Maggie and Eran have to say that they have this certain [...]

    6. Don't get your hopes up when you see the near 4.4 star rating and gushing reviews. It is puzzling how this book, in all its plot-holey-gramatically-errored glory, can elicit such a positive response from the majority of readers. Honestly? I don't see what all the fuss is about. What is in this book that appeals to so many people? What pestered me out of all of the flaws of Reckoning was the sudden change of Maggie, the main character in this book. In the first book, she is weak, depending on Eran [...]

    7. Celeste's review: 4.5 stars! I was eager to start the final installment immediately after I finished Eternity. The pressure was on for Maggie to defeat the Fallen Ones or be defeated herself. I wasn’t crazy about Maggie heading out on her own, she seemed a little foolish thinking she could take the mission on all by herself. I know it is something we see a lot in books-the heroine or hero has to do something solo to save the others. I’m just not a fan, but the rest was so well written I coul [...]

    8. Wow!! Again, this series was amazing. Laury Falter spent very little time adding too many details or extra "fluff" to these books, as most authors end up doing (and ruining it). This last book, was a perfect ending. I mean, although I had an idea of how the ending may be, I still felt every emotion along reading! Every embarrassing and frustrating moment Maggie came across, I felt as I read. Most especially the loving bond between Maggie and Eran, just the right amount! There wasn't much to make [...]

    9. Amazing! Laurie Falter is a genius in this series. I'm talking about love, action, and suspense. Characters that are gutsy, herolike, lionhearted, attractive, charming, and pure evil. We start with Magdalene who will go to no end to protect the one's she love. She is a tough cookie who turns into mush when she is around her loyal and devoted guardian Eran. Eran being very aware that Maggie is stubborn tries to keep her away from the war because her death from a Fallen One will result to Eternal [...]

    10. This book (and this trilogy) was amazing. I finished it in a couple of days and just could not put it down.Yes, some parts were a little cheesy, but the storyline was just so well thought out that I looked passed the cheesiness and just enveloped myself into the story. Admittedly, I was kind of obsessed with this trilogy. When I was at work, I wanted to come back home to pull out my Kindle and finish the next chapter and move onto the next book. I was so invested in these characters that I was a [...]

    11. I enjoyed the first two books in this series immensely, and I was not disappointed with this final installment. I love the concept of it, and the surprises that happened -- well, I can't begin to describe them without giving it all away. The one thing I wish would have happened was a longer reunion scene for some of the characters (If you read it, you'll know what I mean), but that was really my only critique. Although I wasn't sure I was going to be happy with the story, after some.ok place, ul [...]

    12. What a great trilogy. I love Eran, he's so devoted to Maggie. She can be so stubborn but I guess that's what great about her. I feel as if the ending is a little rush and too good to be true but hey, it's hea so I am ok with it. Great books

    13. I'm dieingnever have I ached, laughed, cried, or winced during a book more than this. I'm in love with this trilogy and I don't know what to do with my life now that it's over

    14. Though it was going to be a great series. The characters are well developed, but I just wasn't invested. It was, "Let me just get through this because I started it."

    15. Literally one of the worst series I have ever read. (WARNING! This review contains SPOILERS!!!!)*****First off I am a big fan of paranormal angel series. I loved Fallen, and Hush, Hush and Halo. So I was really excited about this book. But from the first chapter I knew there were going to be issues. The writing lacks so much in detail and in imagery. The pace is fast, which I have no problem with, until it goes so fast that you loose all of the necessary components to writing a well written book [...]

    16. seh-bookblog/2014---One of the BEST series I have read this year! (DO NOT LET THE COVERS FOOL YOU!) Laury Falter, creates a masterpiece with her Guardian Trilogy. This series is the definition of near-perfection with a few minor errors. Fallen, is the first book of Falter that I have read, and I was mesmerize by her creativity, -detailed writing. And, she does not prolong the events and tries to stretch out the story! I love that! This is a trilogy and I am glad she did not try to expand the sto [...]

    18. The last book of the Guardian Trilogy unfortunately was slightly disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the series overall but I was a little let down with the last book. As the war between fallen ones and angels grow, the threat of the fallen ones magnifies as they unleash darker creatures that can send everyone including humans to eternal death. Maggie is determined to rid the world of Fallen Ones and to keep her loved ones safe but as she treads deeper into her obsession she realize [...]

    19. I'll review this as a series since I have read them all. If you like a book with gaping plot holes that goes round and round and around in circles then this is a series of books for you. But I'm going to address some issues below so spoiler alert.1. If alterums or whatever are good souls who have fell to earth and Eran falls and is an 18 year old when he falls (the same for Gershome in book 3) then when in Paris how come both Maggie and Eran are both children who were born with parents??? I thou [...]

    21. I have to tell you that the final book in this series had it all for me. I was surprised by how well it did end. I loved Maggie and Eran. They are what I believe is what soul mates are meant to be and with added dimensions of how their past brought them to the present. The UST remained almost all until 70% of the book was done. I loved how they was intimate happened. It was not smutty. It was full of intimacy for me. So many new set of characters came into play but it wasn't confusing for me to [...]

    22. This book was the best yet, it was full of drama, action, love, heartbreak, and such heartwarming parts between Maggie and Eran. I worried about Maggie for awhile, afraid she was going to get hurt because of putting herself at risk all of the time. There were many interesting but upsetting parts in this book, I liked reading about Maggie going back to the past but I hated her visiting certain people's past, there were many parts that I cried like a baby. I could not believe certain things that h [...]

    23. The plot was interesting. Messenger, Maggie, bound together with a guardian, Eran. They had been together through several lifetimes, their lives hindered by their duties and the war against the fallen ones. Revelations of how Eran had saved some of Maggie's past lives were heart-wrenching. Ezra, Rufus, Felix, Ms. Beedinwigg, Campion, Gershum were all very well written that I could almost see and hear them as I was reading the pages. I had to take a star off because of some of the inconsistencies [...]

    24. Reckoning is in my opinion the best of the three. I did not feel like Falter rushed the ending, rather she let the ending come out organically. I was very pleased with how this series ended and I would recommend the entire Guardian Trilogy to anyone considering reading it.Unlike the previous novels, Reckoning begins with action and keeps up the momentum with ease. There was only one occasion when I felt like the book had done a 180 and everything just stopped. Even then I think this pause was ne [...]

    25. This final book was my favorite out of the three! Laury Falter you've managed to make me obsessed with your writing! Just within the first chapter I found myself laughing so hard I was crying and then a paragraph later I would be sad crying. This final installment is by far the best one. Throughout the entire book I was on the edge of my seat with my heart pumping with each sentence I read. I feel that Eran and Magdalene have both developed for the better and I love seeing how much they have cha [...]

    26. I enjoyed this book so much I couldn't put it down! I enjoyed how Magdalene started from the beginning of the book doing whatever she could to protect those that she cared about. While in the background Eran never leaving alone. The relationship between the two of them shows that they are both indpendent and strong but still need each other. I also liked how Laury Falter allowed us to get a glimpse at some of the main Fallen Ones. I was surprise to see the real reason why and who Abaddon was rea [...]

    27. All questions were answered. Need I say more? I have read quite a few books recently that have left my brow furrowed at the end with too many unanswered questions. This series delivered on a wonderful storyline, superb scenery and well thought out and developed characters. The author closed all doors and left no strings untied by the final word of Reckoning. This was completely fantastic for me. I fear I will spoil the ending of this most perfect series if I say anything more, although I really [...]

    28. As is often the case, this trilogy gets increasingly disjointed as it progresses. The characters lost a lot of personality and mostly just existed to further the action in the plot. That was disappointing because Falter has a flair for characters with a lot of authenticity. I wonder if she was under pressure to complete the series quickly. Overall I felt that this started with great inspiration and then she had trouble figuring out how to reach the ending she had in mind. The first two installme [...]

    29. This one was amazing, truly amazing Those were real feels I had, When I laughed It was an actual laugh, even the smirks oh my god!! THEY WERE REAL And I swear I was at the edge of crying several times And then this one last time I really think I cried I tried to find any way out of what happened but there was absolutely no way, no hope And then all of the sudden I was dumbfounded Utterly speechless That PLOT TWIST at the end was AWESOME, didn't see that coming, AT ALL!! This was an amazing journ [...]

    30. Hmmt my favorite of the trilogy. As I said before, the book needs more editing but that wasn't my biggest issue with it. This book is so violent and repetitive. Maggie is now hunting Fallen Ones and the author takes us along on her pursuits. That's ok but I don't think we need to be a witness to every single slay. Maggie and Eran have such a great love story and I wish the author spent more time focusing on them then on the battle between the Alterums and Fallen Ones. I am going to read her next [...]
