    1. A wonderfully sweet book that didn't let me sleep until I finished it.The heroine Reily is finally on her way to Nashville to try out her dreams to be a singer, she has all her money and belongings in her car and when that gets stolen she is besides herself but a helpful State Trooper comes along, taking her to the nearest town and fixing her up with a possible job. Despite the disappointment she is not going to give up, she will work for six weeks and then leave, nobody in her hometown of Monta [...]

    2. NO ORDINARY JOE was a good read. It was catchy from the start and I felt had a deeper meaning than just love. Just about every woman in Joe Miller’s life has left him. His mother before he was one and his wife two years ago, leaving him with his now 5 year old daughter Lily Ann to raise alone. He’s managed to turn his small town bar into a major success; unfortunately he can’t say the same about his love life. Reily Eckardt has always struggled to make her way. With her big time dream of g [...]

    3. It's been awhile since I've read a Harlequin Series romance - and I can't really tell you why it's taken so long!! They have always been my guilty pleasure, but lately I've moved on to the bigger name authors and have neglected so many great titles in the monthly series categories!! No Ordinary Joe takes place in one of my absolute favorite settings - a small town in the Colorado Rockies! And the story is short and sweet, perfect for a lazy autumn afternoon! Reily is chasing her dreams, heading [...]

    4. This was a really easy read that I just picked up for fun in Barnes & Nobles. It wasn't a deep or amazing story and I really, really liked it because there definitely wasn't an over abundance of angst in it and the main characters' relationship didn't seem forced. Reily was straightforward and strong-willed while Joe had his trust issues but was a great guy too. Some people might complain that things seemed to fall together too easily or that the ending was a bit predictable but I feel that [...]

    5. I haven't read a Harlequin in years and year, but they still give me just what I'm looking for (when I'm looking) - a short simple read with a satisfying happy ending, a nice splash of passion and romance with enough plot to move the story along.Happy to see that these things haven't changed. But it's been years, so I wonder a bit at what HAS changed. The girl seems a bit more feisty, the passion more pronounced. Maybe it's the author or even this particular story, but I can't say I'm disappointe [...]

    6. Good book. I felt so bad for Reily when her stuff got stolen, and so glad when the cop was able to find her a job and a place to stay. When Reily first met Joe, he was a real grouch to her, yet he hired her and gave her a place to stay. They were attracted to each other right away, but both had reasons to resist. Reily was only staying long enough to get the money to continue on to Nashville and Joe had already been hurt by a woman who didn't want to stay. I loved the way that Reily immediately [...]

    7. Now I want my own Joe! LOL! This was a wonderful read. On the way to Nashville to launch her big singing career, Reilly is robbed of her car with all her earthly possessions and ends up working in Jo's Sports bar. They both try to fight a natural attraction fueled by the town's folks and Joe's family. Really nice read without too many distractors.
