    1. I was surprised to see Muslim, Japan and China included. Of course, the lion share was dedicated to Europe. Included little tidbits that I hadn't seen before.


    2. Again I didn't know this was a kid's book. Everything in it was stuff I already know, and it didn't suggest any book written in the middle ages that could be bought and read.
