    1. Another fun scary read with a nostalgic feel for me. In this book I actually knew exactly what was going on the whole way through. I did however feel the suspense and sense the fear that was created by things that were happening throughout the book.

    3. Krik. What do you expect? It's a horror book for middle-graders. The terror should be harmless. I think 22-year-old me has different idea about what's scary and what's not.The book has interesting premise that can be developed into more mature horror. A boy and his brother applied to go to a summer "horror" camp, owned by their favourite movie director, R.B. Farraday. It turns out that the horror they experienced at the camp is real. I imagined if R.B. Farraday opened this horror camp in real wo [...]

    4. Fright Camp by R.L. Stine. This book was quite interesting but not scary in the slightest bit. The plot starts out with two young boys who go to a summer camp hosted by the greatest horror movie producer who ever existed. During this summer camp, scary things start to happen to the boys and all of their friends. They soon realize that they have been set up and that everything is being filmed for the producer’s next movie. The boys seek revenge by setting up the producer to believe that the horr [...]

    5. Typical R.L. Stine fare. It is pretty to the point and tries to make your heart race without actually developing the characters enough to care about them. A story about kids who get sent to a Fright Camp (and really, what kind of parent would do that? It's like sending a kid off to a Wes Craven camp. Might be fun for older teens, but not something any parent I know would send a 10 year old to) and are used a unwitting actors in the next movie. I found it lame, but I'm sure kids will love it.

    6. The thing about this book is it's so scary in a disturbing and weird kind of way and I read this when I was little. Goosebumps stories are usually very short but yet they still managed to freak me out when I was a kid. This one is a story about two brothers going to a camp for a horror movie director and everything just went downhill. Not the scariest thing I've ever read, if i reflect on it now, but back then it was kind of a huge deal.

    7. Andrew and Tyler are siblings and love scary stuff. So the brothers go to a "fright" camp hosted by their favorite movie director. They have places called "The cavern of no return" I thought that was completely weird and somewhat dull. The boys realize that they're part of the next movie. They attempt to seek revenge since they believed it was real.

    8. Not the best one of the series, but still it was memorable enough. R.L. Stine truly is an amazing children's author and masters the genre of horror for kids where it's not traumatisingly scary but scary enough for it to be exciting and thrilling.

    9. I use to read all these kinds of books when I was just a kid and loved them when I was a child. I use to watch some of the TV shows when I was a kid.
