    1. Yessssss. Luuurved it, naturally, though Georgia really is quite stupid, isn't she? (I had to fight the urge to refer to her as a naff prat just then. Things to remember: I am not British. Nor am I 14.) Masimo, the Italian Stallion, does absolutely nothing for me, and I wish he did an equal amount of nothing for her. Alas.Variations on the word "bitch" were used four times (I think) .!! Almost as shocking as the use of the word "slut" in Harry Potter! I mean, why call someone a bitch when you've [...]

    2. I'm not proud, but I totally got hooked on the Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging books when I was in library school! They're kind of like the Bridget Jones's Diary books, but for teens. And you can read them in one sitting! This latest installment is as fluffy as the rest and I shudder to think what a real-life Georgia Nicholson would be like (she's awful!), but I still get a kick out of the humor and the glossary provided for Georgia's "American chums."

    3. For a minute there I thought this was going to be a three star book. While I love Gee and the Ace Gang, I can only read about Libby's bizarre toys and the disco inferno with all its many incarnations so many times. Fortunately, Robbie and Dave the Laugh brought this book home in a big big way. I immediately had to begin book 9 and it is with mixed emotions that I enter the home stretch and the impending end of this series.Gee is on the rack and in the cake shop of lurve. Robbie is back from kiwi [...]

    4. 4 Stars!“BiologyThe film turns out to be about bees. It is a film about a bee center. How crap is this going to be? An hour laterThat was the best thing I have seen for ages. We made Miss Wilson rewind the bit where the two queens were having a bitch fight.”BOOK EIGHT is down! Georgia Nicolson, more like her creator, is hilarious. Her stories are even funnier. The crazy things that come out of her mouth are a poster quote worthy. Seriously, guys, aren't you tired of me telling how hilarious [...]

    5. Ah, young love. It's ghastly and stupid. Particularly if your ex, your sort-of boyfriend, and your friend that you are quite obviously attracted to are all in the mix.Luckily we have Georgia Nicolson to sort it all out for us.Our little girl is growing up, and in the eighth installment of this series, Georgia is demonstrating her maturity. Now, I'm going to go ahead and say that she's quite ignorant about sexuality, but as she's SUPPOSED to be an ignorant young girl (that's ignorant, not hate-fi [...]

    6. Georgia is shallow and immature and truly needs to grow up, but these books are still very funny. Sadly, there's a girl in my year who steals all of Georgia's phrases and words, and everyone thinks she's wonderfully original. I was slightly annoyed at Georgia moaning about how crap History is, and also how unromatic Germans and the German language is. The most gentlemanly man I've ever met is from Germany, so she clearly is quite biased. Anyway, a light read and only took me a few hours to get t [...]

    7. Every time I read one of these books I always ask myself, "why?". I still don't know the answer. It's a ok read but I know I have far out grown reading books like this and yet when a new one comes out I pick it up and read it. I can't even understand half the things that Georgia is going on about in the story. Then I find myself going around saying things like "fabby". Oh well, I know when book 9 comes out I'll read that too and start thinking to myself, "why?".

    8. This series never fails to make me laugh out loud. Georgia Nicolson is so confused, so dramatic, and so boy-crazy, but you see hints of a good heart underneath. While enjoying her antics I find myself rooting for the rational part of her brain to win. I don't know how to recommend these titles to teen girls. Do they take the books seriously or laugh at themselves? Need a little help from all you YA Specialists. How do you sell this series?

    9. I'm waaaay older than the target audience for this book now and yet I still find them to be the perfect pick-me-up when my illness flares up and I need an easy, amusing read. Georgia is such a funny character, I can't help but find her endearing even when she is being utterly daft.

    10. Reviewed by Randstostipher "tallnlankyrn" Nguyen for TeensReadTooShe's baaaaack! The one and only, the fabbity of the fab Georgia Nicolson is back, this time with problems that she thought she had already solved. We all thought that Georgia's heartbreaker days were over but, unfortunately, they just keep on coming. Now, too many of the boys from her past are looking irresistible and sending those mixed messages that could be about love (or at least that's what Georgia thinks). After having to be [...]

    11. Luuurve is a Many Trousered Thing was a laugh! We left the previous book with Georgia running off to catch an imaginary train, just to escape the wild predicament that is Sex God and the Luuurve God at the same place at the same time! The Luuurve fandango continues and Georgia's queuing up at the Bakery of Love!Georgia's let into the cakeshop and has finally decided on the Italian fancy that is Masimo. He becomes her official boyfriend, giving her a No.4 (on the snogging scale, times 3), and inv [...]

    12. For my full review please visit my blog: shadowsireview/20 4.5 stars The cliffhanger at the end of book 7 made fo ra good read this time out. Georgia's big decision wasn't that big in my opinion, the answer was always pretty obvious. That aside this was a really funny book, it's well written and the characters are filled with fabnosity. All in all, I liked this much more than 'Startled By His Furry Shorts'.Jas is on top form in this book, she's absolutely mad with all her weird little obsessions [...]

    13. I have to admit that over the years I had grown a little tired of Georgia Nicholson. Don't get me wrong, the description of Georgia shaving her eyebrows inAngus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging remains to funny that I stopped and read it aloud to friends this year at the Printer's Row book fair. The story had grown thin for me by the time I got to book 5 or 6; a third love interest had been added to the mix, a thoroughly uninteresting Italian named "Massimo." The books only really got moving d [...]

    14. Georgia meets nature in this installment when her class is forced to go on a camping trip. It kind of reminds me of when the boys from Top Gear went camping…the tent issues, bathroom problems etc.—though minus flame issues they encountered. On a side note, I love wacky Rosie with her fake beard and Viking wedding preparations. Priceless! On a further side note, I can certainly relate to Georgia when she describes boys’ cologne: “Wearing pongy stuff that some fool in advertising says is ir [...]

    15. This used to be one of my favourite series when I was 14/15. Georgia's as insane and her escapades as outrageously hilarious as ever. It's laugh-out-loud funny and HUGELY entertaining. Seriously. I mean, Georgia's somewhat of a boy magnet now - has Lurrve God, Masimo, and Sex God, Robbie, at her disposal - and then accidentally lands another boy in the midst. As Well. It's a crazy, crazy romp. The only reason this loses a star is because, I dunno, but I felt like some of the charm was kinda missi [...]

    16. We are closing in on the end of the Georgia series and I still love her, she is still having trouble deciding between the Lurrrrve God and the Sex God but she makes up her mind to go with Massimo. Georgia is still absolutely hilarious, a tad obnoxious at times but I don't get tired of her at all. There are only two books left for me to read and I am hoping that she gets wise and see Dave the Laugh right in front of her. I love Gee and the Ace Gang but I am glad Robbie came back from Kiwi-a-gogo- [...]

    17. Love is a Many Trousered Thing was definitely a bit all over the place in terms of quality compared to the other books in the series I've read but it was good enough over all. It started off quite slow and dragged at parts but it always redeemed itself. Georgia is as sarcastic, dramatic and witty as ever and made me laugh several times. Her narration is really unique and Georgia really started to grow and mature during this one. The ending was really nice and I'll definitely be reading more of t [...]

    18. Georgia Nicholson rides again! These books never fail to make me laugh and possibly roll my eyes. The only bad thing about Louise Rennison's addictive writing is that I go around speaking like a completely naff person on the edge of a nervy b. See? There I go again. I need to check my maturocity.

    19. This one was so good, one of my favorites of the series! Georgia (and I can't believe I'm saying this) actually had to make some tough-ish decisions. I suppose I'm leaning toward Masimo, but I can't forget about Dave the Laugh. I was never than attached to Robbie. Dave the Laugh is probably best for Georgia though. I'll have to go to the library soon to get the 9th and 10th book!

    20. DAVE THE LAUGH, I LOVE YOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dave is a really easy character to like. Georgia is kinda stupid with all her crushes -.- but you know, she's a teenage girl and obviously very horny! I love all the ideas from Louise Rennison, she is a LEGEND!!!!!! WOOOOO

    21. Oh man!Like I said before leave the Italian Stallion and go be with both Robbie and Dave the Laugh but mainly Dave.

    22. Love is a many trousered thing by Louise Rennison, is definitely one for a read. Although it is number eight in its series and you need to read the rest to understand. But I do promise, it's worth it. Georgia Nicolson, the main character of the book is just a normal teenager going through some normal problems. Her life is more comical than most. Reading from the start, you would know that Georgia has been in love with "sex god" and lead band member of The Stiff Dylans, Robbie. Not long after the [...]

    23. ***Spoiler Alert*** Have you ever wanted to know how high school’s like? Well if you read Love Is A Many Trousered Thing you can see through the eyes of Georgia Nicolson. In this realistic fiction book you will see many events Georgia goes through like going on a camping trip to the middle of nowhere. In the story Georgia Nicolson is still in England hanging out with her friends and adding in the new drama of who she likes the best between Robbie, Masimo, and Dave. When she has her mind on [...]

    24. SHE NEEDS TO JUST MARRY DAVE THE LAUGH AND GET OVER IT.Jesus, I have never read of a teenager being so damn confused. And if she says her life is sad one more time I might pop her. Seriously, she has THREE DUDES WHO ARE APPARENTLY INCREDIBLY HOT going after her, her parents love EACH OTHER and she has a ton of fucking friends. This book didn't piss me off so much when I read it for the first time 10 years ago.All and all, she's such a bitch, I don't get why everyone is in love with her and serio [...]

    25. Oh dear. The series has now definitely become stagnant and boring, and this time there was not one redeeming lol. Indeed, comedywise, Uncle Eddie as a strip-o-gram for women who like bald blokes and a rather forced camping trip with Herr Kamyer at the end really is plumbing the depths of desperation. Georgia, meanwhile, has gone from being flawed but fun to being shallower and more unpleasant than any protagonist has a right to be. Not really any highlights in this one, although Dave the Laugh d [...]

    26. Another funny and memorable story from the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson. Though not a ton happens in this book, they do go on a camping trip, which is vair vair amusing. Georgia is also growing up, confiding in her mother more, is being (slightly) nicer to Jas, and has chosen the boy she wants to be with! Well, she thinks she wants to be with, anyway. So why does Dave the Laugh keep popping up?Can't believe there's only two more books to go! How I'll miss the Ace Gang, and all the other honor [...]
