    1. Shaheen revolves around a fictitious character Badr-bin-Mughaira who lived in the last days of Moorish Granada, Abu-Abdullah (The last King of Spain) and Musa Bin Ibe-Ghusan. The novel relates all the events occurred with Abu-Abdullah and Musa with few fictitious events. Naseem Hijazi perfectly mapped and presented every detail in a composed manner and left readers in a state of limbo- at the coast of Granada. Curriculum-inductive book.

    2. an exellent n one of the most memorable reads of my life!a "Must Read" for all who love History n Gallantry both!!!

    3. This has been my favorite Naseem Hijazi novel so far. I especially like the very intelligent way in which the different resistance movements have been woven together, with El Zagal's independent movement as well as independent youth movements given attention. The fall of Granada was not one big war, and it happened almost a century after the rest of Andalus, after it was granted lifeline after lifeline. What I really liked though was that the book highlighted the multifaceted personalities of th [...]

    4. Another book by an eminent author, Naseem Hijazi, reminding us that those who do not learn from the history are bound to repeat it with dire consequences. In this book, Hijazi told us the story of people present at the death bed of the Muslim age of Spain. The reasons were similar to what every nation goes through during their fall; lack of interest in the well-being of society as a whole, moral degradation, losing sight of their goals, and of course, the traitors within. He stressed the point t [...]

    5. One of my professors asked me a while back on how Muslims got kicked out of Spain, and I wouldn't know the right answer if it weren't for this book. Naseem Hijazi has done a great service to Urdu literature by producing such historically accurate novels with their own fictional elements that are equally interesting.

    6. Alhamdulillah, the book entails the fall of muslim empire from Spain and how did that happen? what led to it? it was all result of leaving the principles and guidance of our Prophet Peace be upon him. May Allah swt give hidayat and power of Iman to muslims all over the world and may Peace prevails all across the world

    7. FANTASTIC!! One of the best books ever written. The two magical heroes of history Musa Bin Ibe Ghusan and Badar Bin Mughera are, indeed, role model for every Muslim soldier around the world. Even the speeches delivered by them in the novel have propensity to give you goosebumps. A must read for everyone. Brilliant work by Naseem Hijazi!

    8. I'm speechless to hear this glorious Islamic history based on Spain. A lot's of stuffs are here to show right path to young generation.
